Victorinox Swiss Army Night Vision Watch

Bought the 241570 elsewhere. After a year the second hand would jump 6 seconds at a time then stopped. Sent it back and all they did was change the battery. This watch has two batteries: a CR2032 for the light, and when you lift up its platform, a V371 for the movement. Both can be changed yourself if you have the right tools. A year later the movement battery had to be changed again. The strap/lugs are 21mm and an unusual shape and it will not be easy to change it when the time comes.

Looks good till it stops working, then the blue dial illumination light decided not to go off and run down one battery, then the timing mechanism became erratic, and ran down the other, it started with the second hand bouncing 4-5 seconds at a time, then the damn thing died. No watch repair shop had any idea how to fix it. Even Victorinox stockists advised me to buy a new one. This is the second one I've had that has broken down this way - they are total crap - don't waste your money. If you want a good 'Gimmicky' watch take a look at the Tissot T-Touch watches instead, you wont get a torch watch, but you will get some eye catching and useful features which will prove useful and raise a gasp of admiration from others. Tissot, well, they last for years and years!
