The instructions did not make this entirely clear. If you want a glitzy geometric or star pattern to shoot onto your ceiling or garage wall for kicks, leave the upper section on and twist the chrome knob to suit.Now that I understand that, this pointer is everything I asked for and more. Love that it is USB rechargeable.

The device seems to be very well made--all metal construction and pretty hefty. The normal single dot laser (pointer mode) is extremely bright and can easily be seen in a brightly lit room. The lens that makes the pattern is easily installed and is also made of metal. Rotating the lens creates a shifting pattern of points of light and geometric shapes. I point it at the ceiling and rotate the lens and our cat will sit and watch it for a long time. It's fun outdoors too. I shine it up into the trees or onto the side of the house. Actually bought this for my grandson as a birthday present, but may buy one for myself as well.

The unit I received is complete and it’s fit-and-finish exceeds my expectations.The gears are clean and mesh well; bearings spin freely and mate properly with other parts. Most importantly, this extruded features a replaceable Bowden coupler.The included instructions (exclusively diagrams) are a nice confirmation for those of us that are familiar with 3d printers; users that are less familiar should consult YouTube to avoid incorrect errors. Remember to tighten the grub screw.

I’m very happy with this suture kit I received, I learned how to do some basic suturing in a class once and I wanted to practice a bit more. I’m hoping that with this kit, I will be able to prepare enough to be able to handle a possible emergency situation. Great!

I ended up returning this item as it was smooth where it should have had teeth. It would not have worked for what I needed.
