Update: Seller seems to have re-listed the item under a different ASIN which I can only conclude was to avoid potential buyers seeing the following review which I had already submitted. I have already informed Amazon and shown my outrage that a re-listed product hiding a genuine and honest review only serves to encourage dishonesty. I can not recommend any seller that tries to circumvent reviews that might not be to their liking! I hope that Amazon would equally take a dim view of such practices. Seller has been informed with no regard to this matter <<<My only objection, thusfar, with this toilet seat, is the overall quality of material used. Material used is almost entirely plastic including the water spray nozzles. I suspect that the more expensive ones would be better made but there you'd be paying even more cash for the luxury.I come from Villeroy and Boch world where everything is designed to last a lifetime. I very much doubt if this seat is going to see its first birthday. It is just too flimsy. In particular if it is going to be used by several people or even two but frequently. That said it is very easy to install (assuming that you have the necessary plumbing knowledge and of course availability of water supply). I fit mine over an oblong Villeroy and Boch base and it seats correctly although the seating area is smaller than that replaced. One reason is the existence of the spraying mechanism at the back of the new seat.Seller dispatched the item promptly with tracking information and good communication. I have no idea how the 1-year warranty, if needed, can be exercised as the seller is in Slovenia! Do they expect you to say that the seat does not work and then send the whole caboodle back to Slovenia pending an assessment and rectification! Think about this eventuality before you take a punt. On the plus side the seat is made in Korea which is renowned for the quality of its products. Also the seller seems to specialise in such seats (even reflected in their name) although I have no idea whether they are a one-man band or a sizeable outfit. They give a Belgian contact address which I find rather strange. Purchasing such an expensive item is quite tricky and all eventualities should be considered before committing to buying.My toilet cistern is gravity fed (typical in the UK) and the water pressure is adequate for correct functioning of the nozzles. There is a pressure reducing attachment that could be used if needed; I didn't. The controller is on the right hand side and can not be moved to the other side. A better design would have allowed for left hand use too either due to the location if the toilet seat or the dexterity of the user!In conclusion: The seat and its functionality is a described BUT the price set is simply too high given the cheap material used. Perhaps just over hundred pounds would have been more appropriate. In fact check out the exact same product called Brondell S100-EW Swash Ecoseat 100 on Amazon.com for about 100 pounds!!!Filter used may require changing every six months in hard (or impure) water areas.
