- P5W1 CONTROL BOX. HA2 Two-Zone Processor housed in a white plastic box. The box is 6.5"H x 4.3"W x 2.0"D. This control box must be mounted indoors; not weather-resistant.
- PROBE. Package includes (1) P500 probe with a 50' wire lead. The probe is designed to be buried alongside a driveway up to 14' wide. Probes detect moving metal, and Sure Action probes will detect vehicles moving as slowly as ½ mph. An additional P500 probe and GRND2 lightning surge suppressor (purchase separately) can be added for a second driveway or directional response.
- WIRELESS CHIME. It has 4 volume levels and over 50 sounds. Additional chime receivers (purchase separately) can be added to allow annunciation in more than one location.
- PACKAGE INCLUDES: White control box with all electronics; GRND2 lightning surge suppressor, P500-50 probe; and RXTX612 Wireless Chime.
Sure Action Probe Driveway Sensors monitor the earth's magnetic field. When a vehicle moves through the monitored space, it creates a disturbance in the field and generates a small voltage signal that is sent to a processor. In turn, a relay triggers and drives the resulting action (turn on lights, sound a chime in the home, turn on a video camera, trigger a gate operating system, and more). Probes respond to moving vehicles. If the vehicle stops, the probe's response becomes passive (inert) again. Important Note: Sure Action probes are devices that monitor the earth's magnetic field within a 3-dimensional space. They are passive devices and, therefore, cannot be used as safety devices. In rare instances, probes may activate in lightning storms.
