Sure Action P5W1 vehicle alert system provides an advanced warning when cars and trucks enter your driveway. When the sensor detects metal moving nearby, the processor activates the wireless chime. Wire lead on the sensor is 22/2 burial cable. To avoid picking up street traffic, the sensor should be buried at least 20 feet away from the road. The Wireless Chime’s transmitter needs a 12VDC power supply (included) and gets wired into the P5W1 control. The receiver gets plugged into an outlet in the house. You choose between 4 volume levels and 50+ different sounds. See add-ons below for additional information. ADD-ONs (purchase separately): You can add a 2nd SA-P500 probe (any wire length) and SA-GRND2 lightning suppressor. You can then either (1) have your system cover a u-shaped driveway, or (2) enable your alert system to give an individual response based on the direction the vehicle is traveling. For example, you could choose to have the chime sound when a vehicle enters the driveway, yet, remain silent when the vehicle leaves. You can also add additional wireless SA-RX6 chime receivers to your system (up to 8) and have chimes sound in different rooms and/or buildings on your property.
