Is this slicker brush suitable for Goldendoodles, Poodles, Labradoodles and Bernedoodles?

Yes. This doodle brush is designed for dense, curly and medium-to-long coats. Its curved head follows the dog’s body while the pins work through tangles and loose hair.

How often should I brush my Goldendoodle to help prevent matting?

Brush at least three times per week, adjusting for coat length and how quickly tangles develop. Pay extra attention behind the ears, under the collar, around the legs and near the tail.

Can this doodle brush remove severe mats?

It is designed for regular detangling and smaller knots. Do not force the brush through tightly packed mats; use a dematting tool or seek help from a professional groomer.

Can I use this curved slicker brush on Huskies and other double-coated dogs?

Yes. The brush can work through dense coats and loose undercoat. Use light, controlled strokes in the direction of hair growth.

Do I need a metal comb after using a slicker brush on my doodle?

A metal comb helps find hidden tangles after brushing. Run it from roots to tips; if it catches, return to that section with the slicker brush.
