Testa - Cut Out The Middle-Fish - Much Healthier Than Fish Oil - Plant Based GMO-Free Omega-3 DHA + EPA from Algae Oil - Pure and Vegan - Testa Omega 3-60 Capsules

I feel like a total idiot for buying this product and wasting 24 bucks on it!!!! I just didn't even think that this company would put corn starch (a GMO product) and Carrageenan in their pills. Silly me, that's what reading the label is for. Why you would need these two ingredients in a liquid that's going into a capsule is beyond me - but the benefits certainly don't out way the dangers of ingesting a GMO product or a known carcinogen.

Actual product seems fine (no fishy burps or anything). Not as high in DHA as Ovega-3, but that's gotten way too expensive, so this is a good deal. My main complaint with this Testa product is the PACKAGING. Each pill comes individually sealed and has to be popped out of an aluminum(?)-backed sheet. It's more waste, because although the box itself is paper cardstock, so recyclable (yay!), the plastic bubble sheets are not -- they're just trash (boo!). Technically, it's less or the same amount of plastic as a regular plastic "jar," but at least a plastic jar can be recycled.

It took about two weeks for my body to adapt to the Omega 3, simply because I was so depleted. The vegan Omega 3 have really helped my dry eye condition as well as other issues I was suffering from. I am not "cured", but I notice a difference in various areas of my health. This product is very easy to take. There is a slight smell, but nothing awful of off-putting. They are ease to swallow and there is no after-taste. They a individually packaged in a foil sheet and easy to extract. All in all, a great product and I will continue to use them.

I must use a regular vegan supplement and this one is good. I have, however, found another brand consistently better, for me. "Vegan Omega 3 DHA EPA" both regular or timed released has given a better result. I can feel the difference in the texture of my facial skin within an hour or two of taking a decent sized dose. So far, vegan DHA EPA companies don't seem to agree with what I suspect is an amount needed for healthy function, which is significantly larger than the recommended amounts. This makes these supplements too expensive for use by some income levels, but they remain necessary, so..."Vegan Omega 3 DHA EPA" is a brand, though it looks so generic. It is available on Amazon. I have no association with either product, other than having bought them, I just find the other brand supplies an effect which this one does not. No amount (reasonable) of this supplement seems to make my facial skin feel as healthy as the alternative I list.

I switched from fish oil to algae oil to close the loophole on my vegetarianism. After comparative research, this product: (1) Offers the highest DHA and EPA splits in its formulation, (2) offers that DHA/EPA profile at competitive pricing, (3) doesn't create foul-tasting burps post-consumption, (4) offers a serving size of ONLY ONE SOFT GEL, which speaks to its potency and per-serving economy, (5) provides an ample 60 soft gels per package.To me, only a once-daily formulation of any supplement can be called "best-in-class." so far so good , just started a few wks ago but feel safer with out any threat of mercury from fish based as this is plant based. Got 2 boxes for my husband and myself will report only if any neg. otherwise an excellent "formula" that we feel has excellent bioavailability! Very good product with no "side effects" and have re ordered as we feel all its virtues as listed dependable. This is an item that you have no "wow" factor but it is a supplement that is doing its job so we shall continue keeping it in our "arsenal". Sadly we know of some who went crazy over the "no fat" diet and their mental capacity has definitely diminished which is perhaps one of the big factors in their decline .EFA's are a MUST

I like the idea of the product - lab grown algae, with no iodine or contaminants - but these capsules seem to upset my stomach. I tried opening a capsule and dispersing the oil in liquid, then drinking a little at a time. That's better, but still not great.This is obviously an individual thing. I noted that several reviewers said they are using these capsules because fish oil upset their stomachs. So maybe this is just me.

I bought as a pregnancy supplement to help manage pain and lessen the appearance of a varicose vein on my right leg.Since taking the vitamin, the vein hasn't entirely gone away (I'm pregnant...), but it has dramatically lessened in color and doesn't hurt nearly as much. I am so glad I found this because it's a vegan option and no one needs to experience fish oil burps, especially the expecting.Take a supplement from the source--the algae fish eat. Reap the same benefits without depleting our oceans, and enjoy fish-oil-free breath. Win-Win-Win
