I tried it through my Logitech Z906 Sub amp and compared it to the onboard sound on my mainboard and Sound blaster AE-7 sound card through My creative desktop speakers. On the whole it was pretty good, way better than the Realtek on board sound. It didn't however match up to the AE-7 but that's a £200 sound card. I don't use headphones on my PC but I imagine the results would be much closer with this DAC and my AE-7. I have an Ayima T9 pro amp and some monitors I'm thinking of trying out on my desktop and this will be great to add to that set up. At around £50 this is well worth a try if you're thinking of upgrading form onboard sound with your PC or laptop. Review: Funktioniert gut.
