MobileHealth Wireless Bluetooth Blood Pressure Monitor (Arm) for Apple iOS and Android (EU)

HIGH PRICE FOR LITTLE GAIN.
I have used the Mobile Health Bluetooth BP Monitor and app on my iPhone 7+, regularly for a couple of weeks now. I was previously using an Omicron M2 Basic self inflating Bp monitor and entering the readings manually on the Taconic BP Monitor App.The whole purpose of purchasing the Bluetooth Monitor was to make the whole Bp monitoring process easier. The increase of utility and ease of use over my old Omicron M2 Basic is at best marginal.Because the MobileHeath Monitor is situated on the cuff itself, where the Velcro band would normally simply flap over, initial adjustment takes longer than on my Omicron - where the Monitor is a separate unit from the cuff, cuff adjustment is easier. When the Omicron inflates, it is virtually silent- I could use it before bedtime and not wake my partner. The Mobile Health cuff is very noisy when inflating. I can't use it if she is sleeping. The main problem I have with Mobileheath's Monitor, is the app. This must be used to get wireless data. It actually takes extra time to use it, as there are more stages compared with my manual app and if you have an obviously erroneous reading, a sneezing fit or your elbow slides off the table when taking a reading, there is no way to delete the reading from being automatically added in to your statistics. I find the Monitor has to be operated wirelessly by pushing its Bluetooth button, not its 'on' button, followed by the button on my phone- not at all clear from the instructions. These are not comprehensive enough, especially in regard to the app. This downgrades the whole system's value. Though 'The MobileHealth Monitor' is about 10 seconds faster overall than my old method, it's a high price to pay.I feel that being 5 times the cost of a basic, reliable system, the MobileHeath monitor is definitely overpriced. If the app is updated, making it possible to delete /correct erroneous data - that would be a big improvement, as would making the Inflation system quieter. In a nutshell. It's disappointing for £110, this 'system' offers little advantage, than a less high tech approach. The app definitely needs more work.I am Richard Phillips, I give a completely independent view of what I purchase and have never withdrawn or altered a review when being asked to do so in return for a reward.

Easy to use Bluetooth BP monitor.
This is a well made and neat unit that functions exactly as it should. Its easy to use and produces reliable consistent readings that can be tracked / recorded with the app via Bluetooth. It's easier to use than a traditional device with separate cuff as there is no base unit to worry about. I am very pleased with it.
