Ok so first off, please note THIS IS NOT A STRATEGY GUIDE for the game as has clearly been mistaken by a previous reviewer.It is a beatifully composed background companion to the lore, and history of the, if you will campaign setting the game is based in, and as such is well written and beautifully illustrated. It fleshes out regional areas, races and cultures, so if you want to go add to the experience of what is already in my view a superb, evocative and immersive game, then this may well be for you.Again though .. THS IS NOT A STATEGY GUIDE.

Good book, but I expected a bit more full color art which, sadly, was lacking. But a useful guide for the game, nonetheless.

I played PoE and enjoyed it immensely. The book is a nice way to explore the immense lore the good folks from Obsidian created for this world and keep me busy until PoE 2: Dreadfire becomes available.

Expands on the lore presented in the official guide. Showcases the great amount of work that must have gone to creating this incredible new world for the game. Certainly made large sections of lore-heavy dialogue (about: deities, religions, history, geography) less confusing for me. A must own for all PoE fans.

Brilliant book for lore lovers, printed in the US, thick and high quality paper, short but full of interesting information about the world of Eora. A real steal for the price, highly recommended.
