Lightweight, flimsy, but does the job- mostly
I bought the diamond plate model. I've had it about a week now, and it seems really light weight and flimsy. It doesn't quite lay flat on my griddle-- there seems to be a little rocking to it. The handle is screwed on from the griddle side of the cover, so unless those are stainless steel screws, I'll be expecting them to rust on me. We had a good rainstorm the other day and I noticed there was a pancake side puddle of water standing on my griddle surface, which is exactly what I bought this to protect against. I do really like the 2 clips on the underside that allow you to hang it off the back side of the griddle. The last time I used the griddle I didn't use the hanging clips and just leaned it up against my deck. It makes a pretty good racket when the wind blows it over. Bottom line: I think if this were a $50 cover I would be very happy with it, but for the price I paid I'm not seeing the value and would be very hesitant to recommend it to someone else.

CORNER FINISHING IS NO GOOD
i received this today 06/04/2018 fit good but 2 of the corner not finished perfect. Backyard life gear or who make this cover they should check the quality control before ship it. I pay $159.99 so i accepting mint condition.

Nice look, fit and design.
I do like this product, the design and fit are nice. The hangars also keep the plate from bending if items get placed on top of the cover while not in use. Its not made of that very heavy checker plate that you'd typically find, but it doesn't need to be, as its designed to just be a cover. I added a weather cover to my griddle, for rain protection so if this cover is to be exposed to the elements, you may want to seal the screw heads on the hangars. I personally would buy this again to protect my griddle, as nice cover options for this Camp Chef model are limited.

Sleek cover for low moisture areas
I am building my grill into an outdoor kitchen and needed a better approach to protecting it from the elements. Although a cloth cover is optimal, it won't work with a built-in and it's time consuming to put on. This option provides a sleek appearance and covers the griddle top just enough to protect it from the elements. However, if you are going to have your grill in the elements (not covered), I would suggest a more time consuming cloth material. This is best for low moisture areas.

Nice cover keeps the varmints off!
My griddle is outside under cover and the mice were getting under the canvas cover and crapping on my griddle, had to wash it every time before using. This stops the little rascals from getting on the griddle, I hate mice. Cover is Well nice heavy grade stainless steel and was made to fit the griddle nice, just didn’t like having to peel the protective covering off the stainless steel, I know they were just trying to keep it shiny, but a pain to remove after handles are installed.

Gorgeous
I ordered this item to fit my new griddle and it looks fantastic and my husband loves how it fits and looks. Had a strong rain come inside my porch and the griddle took a hit and it did leak a little through the screw on top but my husband plans to water proof the screw areas on top or just move the griddle further back away from the opening. Bit pricey but we love it.

doesn't fit well
I use this on my Camp Chef flat top 600 griddle. It looks to be constructed well but I feel it is a bit overpriced for what it is. Also the cover has a hook built onto the lid so it can be hung off the back of the griddle. I found when I try this it is difficult to get it aligned up and when it does, the cover is not 90 degrees to the flat top. More like 45 degrees. That makes it hang over the flat top a bit. When I go to remove it, it is such a tight fit that it takes some muscle to free it from the back of the griddle. I believe it should have been made at least an eight of an inch wider.

It’s great
We love it! We keep our Camp Chef 600 griddle under a patio cover also, so no issues with water leaking in, even when 3inches of snow gathered on top and melted, no water seeped in. We usually take the cover completely off when in use. It seems to hang just fine. We just like it out of the way for cooking. Quality seems fine. We have the diamond plate style. I recommend this product and seller.
