Disappointed
The good: Nylon and stitching is sturdy enough. It is not "1000 D Nylon."The not good. Retention. The cords are knock-off para-cord not Bungy. they should absolutely be bungy in order to provide positive radio retention. The cords offer zero give. The elastic that wraps the front of the pouch is too long. It does not engage any stretch because it is much longer than the pouch can even expand when full. The elastic is also very weak. The retention of this pouch will possibly be so-so with finely adjusting the placement of the velcro patches. If I switch batteries from the 1800 to 3800 Miliamp hour battery then the system will have to be completely re-worked. Better material choice on the cords and elastic would have solved this issue.Ultimately the execution of the construction was ok but the material choice on those parts suggests the design was copied without an understanding of the function in practical application.

Mostly functional, not recommended.
Yes, it will hold a standard mil handset. Yes it will hold a baofeng. However, since most of us are using baofeng, and there's even one in the pictures, you should pay special attention to the fact that the strap does not contact the radio, so it's not held securely. If you use the short battery, even at maximum adjustment, the radio is not tightly bound and will wobble around. Not terrible. Not optimal. Larger batteries and milspec radios fit much better, but... About that adjustable strap. It's not much fun because it jams when you insert the radio, forcing you to wiggle the radio or futz with the pocket to get the unit seated. I am not a fan of the adjustable feature on this product. While it does allow the pouch to be used with smaller radios, it interferes with seating, and the strap has no quick release, so you're futzing with the strap or you're pulling off a velcro patch, neither of which is optimal. For the price, It's workable. The pack straps work well enough. I'll use it, but only until I find something better.

I'm liking it.
Bought this for a radio pouch as intended. Fits nice with a little wiggle room left for eat piece attachment.

Exactly as described
The product is exactly as described but I'm a cop in the military and the nylon strap is basic Paracord it's strong and holds my radio in place. I edited this review because I previously believed the pouch wasn't adjustable. And learned It was via Velcro on interior of pouch.

Works great!
Awesome product, that simply works like it should, with no extra bells and whistles. It's made to hold a radio, and it holds the radio. My radio model is a BaoFeng UV-82HP and it fits fine.

Needs improvement
It doesn’t really fit the radio that it’s supposed to fit. The straps that hold it to the belt need to be adjustable. And had to glue the snaps shut because it would easily come undone.

Pretty tough material
Pretty tough material, nice double-stitching around the main seams, and is easily adjustable while also retaining a secure fit. The Velcro/snap-button combo is very reassuring. Haven't field tested or put this to any actual use yet, but I give it a solid four stars based on initial inspection. I'll update to five if it proves to be resilient and reliable.

Nice adjustability
I was concerned at first that my it may not hold my GPS tight enough but the adjustable Velcro strap can accommodate many different sized units. Clever design.
