Quilt Love: Simple Quilts to Stitch and Treasure

This is a pretty book with some lovely pictures of attractive quilts BUT it is not overly practical. All the seam allowances are half inch which is quite foreign to me as some one from the quilting world where quarter inch seams rule! I found a mistake in one of the patterns. And the quilts seem overly simple. However all that being said there are some cool vintabe ideas. I had thought though it would have more 'modern' quilt ideas.I may take ideas and inspiration from this book. But I'm unlike;ly to make one of the quilts.

I enjoy the many projects and the fun stories with them! She has Love and a quilt to go with it, or Memories and a Celebration of Life quiltThe projects are easy and Fun!

An under appreciated quilt book. I saw it at my local joanns and went online to purchase. I love some of the different ideas and fabrics. It's focused on almost heirloom quality quilts and commemorating special moments with fabric. Different than the usual quilt books I read

I like this book, but I expected it to have more, the quilts that it does have are inspirational for those who love contemporary quilts .

I gave this as a Christmas gift to my mom who is a quilter. She was thrilled with the book.

I bought this book because I love Chocolate Labs and I love quilting and the cover picture is one of the best I've ever seen. I am extremely pleased with the quilts and other projects shown in the book--totally my style.

This is definitely one of my favorite quilting books. It is a little more modern, which I really enjoyed. I have made many of the quilts in this book and as a new self taught quilter it was very easy to fallow. I am ordering another one of her books I hope it’s as great as this one is.
