Best I Have Found For Long Term Injury
Years back I feel off a stone wall onto my left shoulder. Though x-rays at the time showed nothing broken, and the doctor said it would be "sore for a while", that while as he put it has been close to two decades. It especially bothers me at night when I turn over in my sleep onto my side. I wake up soon after with it hurting and have to move again. Some form of permanent tendinitis I would imagine. In any event, I have treated it with topicals like this for some time now. I have tried in the past Ben Gay, Sports Creams, Heet, and a variety of others. All of them worked to a degree, but not like this. I originally tried this Icy Hot in spray form and it worked wonderfully. I could actually apply it at bedtime and sleep most of the night on and off my side with little pain. At least not enough pain to awaken me anyway. As much as I liked the way this worked, I didn't like the spray that much. Too much of it tended to get wasted. This stick form has proven to be the best way to apply it to my shoulder and upper arm at night. Its a dry balm, and at first it was hard to tell if I had put enough coverage on. But over time I got used to it and now apply it effortlessly, and it works great. I think it is even better than the cream in that none of it gets wasted in applying it. Highly recommended for your aches and pains. New or old... : )

Well color me impresesd!
I've known about Icy Hot for years, but never tried it until recently. I have osteoarthritis that's kind of widespread -- back, knees, hands, and especially my right shoulder. Recently, I started a pulmonary rehab program that involves a lot of exercise that puts a lot of motion and stress on that shoulder, resulting in some fairly intense pain. Ibuprofen helps some, but it was still so ouchy I had trouble sleeping.The exercise physiologist suggested I try this. After doing a bit of research (there's actually a peer-reviewed research paper which affirms the effectiveness of using methol-based topical analgesics for exercise-exacerbated joint pain), I decided to give it a try.IT WORKED! I expected a slight improvement, but the pain was almost totally gone. Seriously, you could have knocked me over with a feather. The difference was really amazing.So .... I'm sold. I love this stuff. It really does work. Yes, it smells and the smell lingers -- one of my cats reacts to it much as he reacts to catnip, so it's been a frenetic circus around here over the past few days since I've been using this. But those are small prices to pay for the level of relief I've gotten from this. Will DEFINITELY continue purchasing and using when needed.

ICY HOT WORKS!
This is an excellent product. I love the fact that it is solid and is easy to apply. It is also a very clean product to use and your hands don't get messy and greasy. Most important is that it is effective and works well throughout the day. It does what it claims to do and, if necessary, is easy to carry with you - be it purse or pocket. My only complaint is that I wish it was less expensive. The "messy" muscle rubs are definitely cheaper and you get more product for the price. I also prefer the solid stick over the liquid roll on prodcuts because the roll on muscle rubs leave a flaky residue on your skin when they dry. Yuck. That is another reason I definitely would recommend the Icy Hot Stick. It's one of my favorites.

Stick = GOOD
I literally depend upon IcyHot. I have to use it every night before bed.... and sometimes during the day on my knees. It makes life bearable, as I have physical issues that cause me great pain. I wish I could just coat myself in it, but I realize that is not a smart move. Therefore, having this stick where I can apply it where it is most needed is very helpful. As I tend to rub my eyes at night, it is a great thing to no longer chance having the IcyHot on my fingers. The stick has saved me... ;)I love the four pack as I have them stashed in every room now.

Releases pain, not messy! Can't find in local stores have to order on line.
Good stuff! I like this particular kind because you can rub it on straight from the solid stick and it doesn't get on your hands. Trust me you don't want to get this on your fingers, and rub your eyes 😵😂 ohhhhhh!

like stick deodorant
This stuff is my go-to remedy for pain in my hip and back that wakes me in the middle of the night. The thing about the Chill Stick, as opposed to the Gel Stick or the gel in a tube is that there is NO MESS! It goes on dry, like stick deodorant. Why they stopped carrying this stuff in the stores I have no clue, but I'm so happy I found it on Amazon. Try it. You'll never go back to the gel again. (It used to be called Icy Hot Chill Stick, now it's called Icy Hot Pain Relieving Stick, and I think they changed the formula slightly because it's not quite as strong, but it still works.)

Very effective in reducing pain.
I’ve been using Icy Hot with SALICYLATE for years. It is the only topical cream that reduces my arthritic pain and I’ve tried everything on he market. I use it for all pain in hands, feet, back, joints and muscle pain, allowing me to reduce less NSAID use. There are few effective products available for arthritis pain and this is one. Follow manufacturers precautions before and during use. Like all NSAIDS, there can be side effects.Note. This product has a strong odor!

I admit that in my desperation I didn't quite realize that I was ordering a 4-pack but I am happy to have extras I can keep in a
I have used icy hot cream for years to treat sore neck and shoulders. When I recently injured my foot and had limited mobility, I decided to try the stick to treat achy arms (from crutches) and knees (from having a large walking boot) because I could apply it without having to get up and wash my hands immediately after. It has been a lifesaver! I admit that in my desperation I didn't quite realize that I was ordering a 4-pack but I am happy to have extras I can keep in a purse, upstairs, and so forth.
