Classic Blues and a Lot of Fun
Straightforward classics in tab and music form, with brilliant backing tracks to download. It's not one for a complete novice but I'd image most people with 6 months or so of experience could access it and start to pick up sections of most songs and develop some of the key techniques, even if they are not ready the full versions. All but the most experienced players should find something to challenge them and learn from. I think you'd find it hard not to have a lot of fun with this.

Blues Songs
This is a high quality book and CD, as you would expect from this particular publisher. It is clear and easy to follow. However, that does not mean that it is easy to play like a blues great, so for beginners, think carefully before purchasing. The tab is clearly laid out and if you are familiar with this form of notation, it is easyenough to read. The tracks on the CD help you to listen to where you may be going wrong and they includeduplicate versions of the track without the lead guitar so that you can practice and accompanythe band. The song choices are pretty good too, although there aren't many, but for the price I supposeit is reasonably good value. This is more suited to intermediate players but would also be of value to relative beginnerswho know a scale or two and are prepared to put in some hard work.Lets face it, if it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing, would it ?

Good Lessons
This is a great book for when you are fed up of all that scale work. the arrangements are authentic and the music is well written in an easy to understand tab that helps you along. take your time listen to the cd and then play along.there are some real classic blues songs on here, boom boom, the thrill is gone, hoochie coochie man etc. I don't think it is for real beginners, although if you are just starting out it is always good to push yourself, but don't get disheartened, the guys who played this stuff really knew their instruments and how to get the best from them.
