Motte by Castle – Leather Wrist Rest Cushion for Mice, Mouse Pads, and Laptops – Ergonomic Durable Wrist Pad with Anti-Slip Rubber Base (Woodland)

I purchased this to match the Castle keyboard wrist rest. It is nice, but has three issue, one mentioned in another review. 1. It is too hard for comfort. 2. Resting the wrist on it for a while causes it to stick to the wrist. 3. It is too light. It slides too easily and actually lifts off the desk due to issue number 2. It could be improved by having a weight inserted inside and have a softer leather for comfort and possibly help it not stick to the wrist.

I love the Bailey keyboard wrist rest, so had high hopes for this one. First: build quality is incredible, just like the Bailey. We’re all different, so you might not have my problem, but this failed to provide matching support to the keyboard rest for me. I wear a large men’s glove, and can say that if you have heavier hands, you may want something else. The Bailey is perfect for me, but the Motte is not. The smaller size and shortened ends compress the foam more, making it stiffer in a more concentrated area. That might soften a bit over time, but I also need a larger support area to distribute the weight. I had hoped for something that feels like it was cut off of the end of the Bailey, this little bubble will never feel right.Again, this is just me. If you have smaller, lighter hands, it might be perfect. The build quality is insanely good for the price. The leather is excellent, like a premium shoe or chair, and the stitching and finish are very attractive. The bottom is entirely textured rubber, and you can feel the same firm insert found in the Bailey, ensuring it will retain its shape. I really, really wanted to love it, but I may have to return it, then buy another Bailey to modify into what I need.

I've really tried to like this. I ordered the matching keyboard & mouse rest. I used the end of a 5lb weight to try and show the firmness. (I know I'm comparing different materials / fill but a wrist support should not be so hard in my opinion.) I had hoped after using it a little while that it would 'break-in' or soften but it has caused so much pain in such a short time that I'm going to have to discontinue and return it before it's too late.It does come in a really cute box! lol

I wore out the 8 dollar Razer wrist wrest in about 1 year. It was a decent rest but I do also work from home so the wrist wrest will see on average 9-12 hours of use in a day. I decided to try this one out instead of just buying another Razer one every year. So far this is superior in my opinion.There are complaints about it being to stiff however this is perfect for supporting your wrist/arm for long periods of time. It feels solid and very well made. The stitching is fantastic and looks like It will last for a while. If you are looking for something soft look elsewhere, if You are looking for arm support for long hours of use get this.It is a little bit shorter on the width and a tad bit taller on the length then the Razer one. The height appears slightly taller until you put weight on it. Then this one is much taller but that is also good for arm support.

So I have bought a ton of mouse wrist rests over the years and I was a little skeptical about spending 20.00 on this one but decided to give it a shot. I received the package which was in a cool box and opened it up, to my delight unlike any order I have ever placed on amazon there was a greeting message. It really set the tone for the whole purchasing experience and made me feel like I was not contributing to some large corporation but instead, a small thoughtful and creative company who are determined to exceed customer expectations.The product itself was made out of high quality leather that had graphics stamped in opposing corners, you could tell that the product designer really did his research to see what the best fit for a modern office would be. I was also once gamer in my younger years and really liked the name Castle Co. as well. The white stitching around the border was clean and added the perfect accent that could fit in any desk or office space. The backing of the wrist rest had perfect non slip felt which I like much better than rubber, because I like adjust the position of my hand without having a rubber squeaking noise. And it did not slide around while I am mousing either!The ergonomically shaped wrest is very smooth and sits high enough off the desk that I can easily track from one side of the screen unlike a lot of rubber products the skin on my wrist was not chaffed after a long day working in the office. The leather also allows much more breathability than any rubber product out there.I LIKED THIS PRODUCT SO MUCH I BOUGHT THE KEYBOARD WRIST REST TOO!I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

I got the mouse wrest and keyboard wrest together. I was quite surprised to find out they are actually made in my city. The quality is superior. The price is a bit high, but not for what you're getting. The pads are a bit hard at first, but after a month of a few hours a day while gaming, they're breaking in pretty well. Absolutely no signs of distress or tearing, just getting softer. I wanted something quality for my new desk, and I recommend these. Comfortable and hard wearing. A great product from a great little company. I don't have any problems with them sliding like a lot of people, but my desk surface is textured. My only gripe is that I wish they'd make some more products in the same line. I had to buy coasters and mouse pads from other companies. Luckily they matched perfectly. Thanks Castle!

Great build, stays anchored where I want it, doesn't cave to my weight like the awful polyurethane (memory) foam of other products. Highly recommend.
