On their 2nd album, Italy’s Gluts deliver some dark & noisy psychedelic menace with a deranged and ominous, building intensity rooted in post-punk Gothic industrialism. Radical banshee-screeching white-noise shoegaze guitar waves combine with vocals that move from haunting & celestial to gravelly & demanding. Repetitive bits of dreamy cold-wave occasionally interrupt the audio onslaught. Reminiscent of bands like Turkey Bones & the Wild Dogs, The Birthday Party, Grave Babies, The Janitors, Muertos, Sisters Of Mercy. “Estasi” is an overloaded, tripped-out noise-punk/Goth audio assault.
