Great item for your emergency kit or bug out / get home bags. Also great to just keep one of these in the car or truck for emergencies. Never know when you'll be stuck in a blizzard on the highway. This isn't the normal Mylar emergency blanket that your gonna find everywhere. This is actually a sleeping bag made from extra thick Mylar. The outside comes in one of three colors including safety orange. The seams are all sealed with tape so that the bag can be opened up to make a shelter / canopy. The inside is the same reflective surface that "bounces" back your body heat to keep you warm. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was the repack process to get it back into the included bag. If you needed to pack up and get out quick, it is quite a feat to get this bag folded back into the pouch.

Got to use this shortly after receiving. Had elk down close to sunset, with coyotes around and 3 miles from vehicle. Decided to bivouac there overnight to protect my game. Used this bag, an ensolite pad to sit on, and a couple chemical warmers for my feet and hands. It got down to 30°F. I won't say it was comfortable, but it worked, and I would do it again if necessary. I was actually able to sleep a little!

First off this is not my first Titan purchase and I've never been let down before. This bag is made of their stronger Mylar material that they have used for blankets in the past. It's the best material I've had for these type blankets but now in an enclosed bag. They make my blankets almost obsolete. The pouch it comes in will protect these bags 1000% better than a zip-lock bag or shrink wrap ever would that you already have. The pouch is rip stop material and more like a lightweight pack fabric. For space the whole thing will squish to about half the size of the loaded pouch or you could fit 2, maybe 3 in the pouch. I purchased 3 for 3 separate go bags but frankly I didn't get enough. I probably need 1 in the car for every member of the family. It's still one of those "you hope you never use it" things but if you do need it there should be no odd-man-out. If you travel commonly in sparsely populated areas I cannot imagine not having some in the car.

Very lightweight and easy to pack. I used it this past weekend primitive camping. It wasn't an emergency, but I wanted to know how useful and effective it was. Keep in mind this is like an emergency blanket, there is no fluff or padding. If you need something that functions like a sleeping bag and encloses you like a sleeping bag, provides warmth, easy to pack, lightweight and ease of use...this is perfect.

I’m not overly happy. This product is great and didn’t rip on the seams. Great work on securing those. However feel like the one I recieved was jacked up from the packing. My bag was used a bag liner( in a tent on a soft mat ) and had ripped in a couple odd spots where it was folded. But the seams stayed intact. I was going to return it but I honestly was not in the mood to find a printer and repackage something to send it to amazon just in order to request the same item. I do believe this is a great item. Make sure you grab it. If it didn’t say reusable I wouldn’t be here writing such a conflicting response like when you ask you wife what’s bothering her and she tells you “nothing is wrong” while huffing and smashing all your crap. I’m going to keep the ripped bag in my go bag for whatever it’s worth and may prob buy another in the future however I felt you should know it’s worth it but I had these issues.**** update****The company reached out to me and tried to make it right. They really stand by their gear. I will say I’m very impressed. I will be reaching out to pick up a bunch of these for the guys on our team. Thanks to a solid company.

It holds in all the moisture. I woke up and my sleeping bag was soaked! This was a complete waste of money

I ordered this bag with the intention of using it in my car get home bag. I need some basic and light weight that will keep me somewhat warm in an emergency situation while I make my way home to the family. I really wanted this bag to be a lot nicer, and I liked the idea of buying from a veteran owned company. My background is also Army and LE, so sturdy products are worth their weight in gold to me. When I took this bag out is was very lightweight. The carry pouch was nice. However when I took out the bag, I had to begin peeling it apart from one end to the other. I had the lights off in my living room, and I could easily see right though the bag out the window. The package clearly states 31"x 86", and I am 6'5"or 77 inches. This bag flexed would not come to the middle of my head, so there was now way I could use it to make a seal around my head and shoulders, which of course is the how heat retention works. I cannot recommend this product, and I am in the process of returning it.

Well it is not a garbage bag it's only a step above and it is really thin. If you're looking for something to protect you from the weather it is not something I would want to protect me in serious weather but if it's just raining you can use it to help keep you dry. It is better than nothing
