Not just for the front door!!
Bought this for our front door but it is a bit too big. I loved it and didn't want to return its so we have hung it on our foyer closet door right below our coat of arms plaque. Makes a wonderful addition as you come in thru the front door. Looks wonderful.

it looks great but the screws are too big for my door ...
it looks great but the screws are too big for my door which is fairly thick, I was able to get solve the problem by going to Loews and getting on long screw with male threads on both ends and cutting it to size. I put a nut on the screw before cutting and then forced it off thus allowing the brass nuts to fit after installation
