Linnea 2013 Collectable Poster Calendar by Johanna Riley Kriesel

The Linnea Poster calanders, although a bit pricey, are a must for me! The pictures are always frame worthy and I look forward to seeing each month. I buy one every year and have the plexiglass frame that I use over and over. It's a part of my art work in my powder room yearly. I encourage you to try one! Or give one as a gift!

I enjoy this calendar every year for its bold, colorful, seasonal graphics. I have noticed that every year there seems to be at least one picture that does not seem to fit with the month it is placed with. This year it is the glass jar of seashells, etc. (on the cover) that is the picture for October. I don't know about you, but when October rolls around I like to see a nice autumn or Halloween graphic on my calendar, not seashells that should have been the pic for June, July or August. Otherwise, the calendar is wonderful, as usual. I keep it framed on my kitchen wall, and it is always a pleasure to see.

The artwork dominates the calendar in contract to calendars with art work added almost as an after thought.This is one of the gifts I give to relatives that is requested year after year.Be certain to get the acrylic display frame for it. It will make it easy to hang or display on a bookshelf.

Have been receiving this calendar for more than ten years as a Christmas gift from a dear friend.Sadly our friend passed and we didn't realize that his wife was still planning on sending this year as well. I,However did not think that was going t o happen, and did not want o be without this "piece of art" so, I ordered two,One for myself one for my mother.They are a wonderful gift. We will always remember our friend when we watch the months fly!!

We have ours in our dining room...comes in handy for when discussion of dates comes up and the artwork is pretty cool. My younger daughter loves swapping out the months, to see what artistic interpretation we are getting for that next month. A very pleasant addition to your living space indeed.

As always, this is a beautiful collection of calendar prints. The artwork is superb and accurately portrays each month. I'm giving this collection 4 stars instead of 5 due to the colors chosen are less vibrant than the 2012 calendar. While it doesn't take away from how well done the art is, there's less of a visual pop than last year.

This was originally given to us as a gift 5 years ago, we love them. Every year we buy the replacement calendar to go into the frame. Not many calendars are frame worthy, this one is. I was so tired of the paper calendars, so tacky, these are works of art.

I was sooo happy to find this calendar again....12 wonderful posters.I wish I had enough room to hang them all around the kitchen like I used to.So simple, just buy a lucite box at a local store, and pop in the current month.
