Greatest td-235 Platinum (Black)

This sounds good to my untrained ear... when it runs. Unlike the other reviewer's experience, at least my unit always shut off when it got to the end of the record. But no matter what I tried (the instructions indicate, in two different places, two different ways to handle the tonearm once the record stops), it would only start about every fifth time I moved the needle over the platter (which is how it is supposed to start). Also note that this unit no longer ships with the AT95e cartridge, and it no longer has a "solid wooden plinth". I got no response to my tech support inquiry on thorens.com so, since I was frustrated and disappointed on many fronts, I had not choice but to return it.

Ich habe den Thorens TD 235 als Ersatz für meinen in die Jahre gekommen Technics BD-20 gekauft. Leider war das zunächst gelieferte Gerät defekt-der Plattenteller schaltete sich nicht ein. Der Verkäufer "Hifi-Fabrik" hat sich sofort bemüht, mir ein Ersatzgerät zu beschaffen, dies hat dann etwa 10 Tage gedauert- also noch analoges Zeitalter...Aber, das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Der TD-235 liefert mit dem Audiotechnika AT 95E einen sehr guten Sound ab: satte Bässe bei Tracy Chapman und klaren Sound bei den Beatles-Singles auf 45U/min. Ich als Nichtaudiophiler höre im Klang keinen Abfall im Vergleich zum einem Ortofon TM 20, und nur bei sehr großer Lautstärke ein schwaches Eigenrauschen oder Rumpeln (Leerrille!).Die Einschaltautomatik reagiert manchmal nicht beim Erstenmal-deshalb nur 4 Sterne. Ansonsten Kaufempfehlung für Plattenliebhaber!
