Security Analysis, 6/e 6ED 6th Edition

This is a very nice hardbound edition of this classic book on investing. As another reviewer mentioned, it also came with a CD or DVD containing an earlier version of the book which was a nice surprise. After placing my order I noticed that it was being shipped from India so I expected delivery to take a long time but to my surprise I received it in three days. In fact, I had ordered The Intelligent Investor at the same time I ordered this book and I received them on the same day even though that book was shipped from a nearby Amazon location.That's not a review of the book itself, of course, but this book is so well known that I have little to add to what has already been said for decades. It's reputation speaks for itself.

The 6th edition a bit annoying with all the interrupting long commentaries. What saves this is the CD with the 1940 second edition. The commentaries in the 6th edition can be better appreciated after reading the second edition.

This classic book's contents deserve 5 stars, no surprise there. This review is for the physical book, the Indian edition. It is a nice hard cover, with a pleasant surprise on the back inside cover: a disk with the 2nd edition of the book. Would buy again.

One of the most important investments and securities books of all time. If it’s not on your bookshelf it should be.

Great condition

Financial market exists since xx century. Security Analysis probably is the first (the only?) fundamental book written. Stands like Platon in philosophy or Dante in literature. Don't play with money if you haven't read!
