Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials Complete Nutritional Drink 22 Pack Box (Classic French Vanilla)

I know this is nothing ut dry milk and sugar, but when I need a quick meal this is great for me. I am diabetic and wear a pump and sometimes I need something light when I don't feel like a meal. This is very economical compared to pre-bottled drinks. I prefer it with whole milk, but you can add what you like. Use a shaker glass little ice and shake, tastes great.

This is our 2nd order from Amazon.com for Carnation Instant Breakfast French Vanilla Classic in the 22 pack box. We have been looking for this product for months in all of the stores around us and could not find it. I searched everywhere I could think of like Walmart, Walgreens, Target, Safeway, and didn't have any luck until I checked out Amazon.com. The first time I searched on Amazon.com, I wasn't sure what to expect. To much of my amazement, I was totally surprised of the many things that I buy even from Costco right here on Amazon.com. I will continue to buy as many products that I can possibly find here on Amazon.com. Now I am looking at other items that I would never have thought of buying from Amazon.com. If you're lucky, this will have no adverse affects on you. Most, if not all, Carnation dairy products are borderline contaminated, meaning you don't know what will get you from one envelope to the next.

I bought this product for my elderly Father who needed nutritional supplements to help him maintain a healthy weight and during the day. He loved milkshakes and used these variety of instant breakfasts to make milkshakes in between meals and at bed time. He liked them much better than Ensure, which was more expensive and wasn't as tasty to him. He could even add his choice of ice cream to the mix to create a thicker, creamier milkshake. It was a way to give him lots of choices and variety so that he did not get burned out on them, and by adding a bit of different flavored syrups and ice creams he enjoyed creating his own personal concoctions as desired.

The breakfast drink totally disguises its nutritional content. The picky picky grandson will drink it for breakfast and a bedtime snack and thinks he is getting away with something and I just smile and offer another glass. He needs the calories and protein and doesn't even know that although it tastes great it is good for him. I will be getting more.

I love Carnation powder because it is SO easy to make anywhere you have milk. Normally it comes in chocolate flavor at our local bulk store, but once they had a shipment of this vanilla flavor. Of course, since I loved it better than the chocolate, they didn't ever get the vanilla in again! I was so grateful that it was offered at Amazon.

I have no clue what you want me to say. I would not have bought the item if I did not like it prior to my purchase. We got the delivery in two days and I am satisfied with the service.

While my granddaughter is getting ready for school I mix her one and know she is getting the daily vitamins and minerals. And it fills her up till lunch.
