These hood rod retainer clips fit my son's 2000 Dodge Stratus SE perfectly! The hardest part of the installation was figuring out how to remove the old 2 part plastic clip, because we couldn't tell at first glance that it had 2 parts. These clips are one part, so it's a piece of cake to pop them into the square retainer clip hole once you remove the old broken clip.If you're replacing a 2 part clip, like the one in my photo on the left side, you need to wiggle the top clip part with needle nose pliers enough to wedge something like a putty knife between Part A (curved clip portion) and Part B (plastic hole clip part 2) to first remove part A. With part A removed, reach under and squeeze with your fingers the 2 plastic tabs on part B to push it out of the car frame hole. This new one piece clip will pop right into the hole and stay there.A cool thing about this product is that you get a ton of clips in the package. Should the new one break at any point, you already have a whole bag of replacement clips to use.
