I read Countdown to Killing Curtis nearly three years ago and that book has still remained my favourite by this author, until now. This was an unputdownable read that will have you totally captivated from first to last page. Tyler Caldwell will be at the top of many a book boyfriend list and as our jock gets knocked on his a**, you will be glad you were there to witness it. This book is chock full of trade mark Lauren Rowe humour but this book is also full of heart. I adored everything about it and this will definitely be one book that I re-read time and time again.“Does that mean I’m a lifelong memory now?”“You already were.”Tyler was devastatingly handsome, a little cocky and had that flair of arrogance about his abilities, but it wasn’t unwarranted, he was an NFL recruit in the making and it wouldn’t be long. Tyler was extremely focused and driven, he knew what he wanted and he knew what he had to do get it, and a girlfriend was definitely not on the list. Tyler has seen what love does to a guy on the pitch and until his career was settled he didn’t need the distraction.Zooey was a freshman studying theatre with aspirations of becoming Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway and she had the pipes to back it up. Zooey was quiet and shy and having been brought up by her dad she had been sheltered and over protected. Now having moved away she can spread her wings and the first thing she wants to do is lose that pesky “V” card so that she can really gain the full college experience. Zooey wanted to find her “one” until her roomie persuades her she needs a one-night stand with a man of experience to do the deed.“That’s the day that I discovered all d**ks and tongues and fingers are not created equal, my friend. Not. At. All.”Zooey and Tyler were adorable together, neither going into it for the long haul and yet their instant connection, their banter, their senses of humour all married together in one perfect “I love them” bubble. The chemistry was on point, these two combusted the pages and their journey became one that I shared every step of the way, including the ups and downs.“The truth is I’m ninety-nine percent sure falling in love isn’t on Tyler’s syllabus. And telling him how I’m feeling – just so he can reject me and smash my heart into a million tiny pieces – most definitely isn’t on mine.”Yes, I shed tears, but there was no unnecessary drama, just the norms of two people with potentially conflicting careers trying to find their place in the world while still having each other. These two were incredibly grown up, mature and fought for what they both wanted and what was right for one and other.“This beautiful boy crashed into me like a ton of bricks from the moment I first laid eyes on him. And now, it seems, fickle Fate is demanding I finally suffer the inevitable... burn.”The character development was spot on and these two embedded their way into my heart from the very beginning. That persona that Tyler carries is pure advertising heaven, but the man underneath, is every woman’s wet dream. Tyler was simply perfect and Zooey was the perfect ying to his yang. I cannot say how much I adored this book, I could not put it down and I cannot wait to re-read it.

I have no idea how she does it, but Lauren Rowe is a literary genius when it comes to setting up memorable stories filled with characters that burrow deep into your heart and never let go. Zooey Cartwright and Tyler Caldwell do just that in Lauren's latest release, Misadventures of a College Girl. Not only did this story make me feel each and every emotion they experienced, it made me laugh out loud, swoon as well as burn through the pages to find out what would happen next.Zooey Cartwright is a freshman at UCLA. She hasn't been saving herself, per say but has not given away her virtue either. She is determined to change that status. When she meets Tyler Caldwell, the cocky star of their football team and finds he might just be the guy to help her with this quest of hers. However Tyler is nothing like she expects and she ends up walking away embarrassed and unsatisfied, vowing to forget things ever happened. But Tyler has other plans for Zooey Cartwright.I loved reading this book. Tyler Caldwell is fantastic. He is definitely a book boyfriend many will be fighting over for a long time to come. I know he will be the top of my list for a long time to come. I love Lauren's ability to create a world I never want to leave. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!

I am here just going through emotions. This book was everything!! I fell in love with Captain Morgan hard, one of Lauren's wonderful books, but Tyler, lawd have mercy!! Never thought Captain Morgan would get knocked out of his throne. I mean come in he’s A MORGAN! Lauren you’re a genius. Your words in this book slayed me, they ripped through my heart, yet you also made me laugh like crazy, the lines you come up with! #priceless, and then I found myself wanting to kick Tyler’s butt, then cry again, talk about an emotional roller coaster ride!You let us see Tyler and Zooey raw, joking, bantering with each other, become more than best friends, you gave us their past, showing how broken they each were, not knowing that the fates had a plan with their broken hearts.Tyler and Zooey’s love story is profound, epic. It’s about destiny, about fate, about passion and family, it’s about following your dreams. I’m so in love with this book, can you tell?Lauren from the first book of yours that I read, you became the reason I set my standards very high when it came to reading, and College Girl only confirms this a hundred times more. I know we’ve all been so excited about Colby’s book, he’s A MORGAN, believe me I still am, but this book has me on cloud 9.I can honestly say this book is one of THE BEST, if not THE BEST she has written! It is the best misadventure book I have read so far. It’s a masterpiece! This is the Mona Lisa of books!

Tyler and Zooey...Zooey and Tyler!! I am completely love struck after finishing this absolute gem of a book by Lauren Rowe!I am a huge fan of Lauren’s books! They all grab you and suck you in, making you swoon and chuckle with her undeniable funny wit you find sewn throughout her books!! Misadventures of a College Girl was no exception to this. In fact, this book has nearly taken my top spot for my favourite books of hers to date!!You get the gist of what the story is centred around from the title but it is oh so much more!! You will fall for Zooey straight away!! A very relatable character you can’t help but feel a connection to her!! Now Tyler, damn Tyler!! I don’t think I will be able to look at certain types of food in the same way for a while!! He is hot and sexy and everything plus more of what you look for in a male character - you will get your panties in a twist over this guy!I fell for this couple and this story big time!! I laughed and swooned and I freaking cried!! Big fat tears that make you look like an eejit, as other people watching you are wondering what the hell your reading!!Emotional rollercoaster comes to mind!! But fear not, you will feel bloody awesome by the end of this book!! I guarantee it!!So if your an avid reader of Mrs Rowe, much like myself, you will be brought along on an amazing ride as per usual! If this is your first time reading her books your bloody welcome!! I guarantee you will have to binge after this one!!

Ok so first thing I need to say, I REALLY don't do a lot of college romance. I don't have a massive reason, except I hate whinny heroines & sometimes they are written to immature for my liking, but BUT .... OMG Misadventures of a College Girl has swept me off my feet in the most epic fashion. Like I'm still floating on some pink fluffy cloud drinking glitter champagne with smile that makes my jaw ache. EPIC!The one thing I love about Lauren is that she always delivers the most memorable leading characters. She surrounds them with equally memorable secondary players & a story that is so unique in it's humour while bursting with a tenderness that always steels my heart, that pulls me in from the very first page & refuses to let me go. It's never ever been a case where the Hero & Heroine haven't matched each other every step of the way in wit, banter, passion, emotion & loveability & crikey did she push the bar even higher to bring me Tyler Caldwell & Zooey Cartwright. Gahhhhh this cute, adorable, laugh out loud couple have managed to take me on the most gorgeous journey imaginable - their very own epic love story, so powerful & beautiful it will even rival the greats.I really don't want to give any spoilers, because each & every page delivers the most addictive scenes that need be read first hand, but what I will say is their story is PERFECT. Their love is BEAUTIFUL. Tyler is the most stunning hero with a heart that you want to keep forever & Zooey, well she is the most gorgeous sweet girl with such an adorable innocence. You will laugh, snort, sigh & cry along with them as they make their way through this crazy thing called life, & I promise you will be thankful that you got to meet them & share in the laughter & lust that only comes with young precious love.This pair have burrowed deep into my heart & I'm in no hurry to let them go.5 Epic Stars for this Epic Story Of Love.

Is there anything Lauren Rowe can't do to make me fall hopelessly in love with the characters she writes? At this point in our author/ reader relationship I would have to say no.There's just something about the way she writes that has me clamouring for the next story, even before I finish the current book.Zooey and Tyler are such a refreshing couple. As college students they shouldn't have such a deep, soulful connection.The timing is wrong, the setting is wrong. You don't find your soulmate at the very first college party you attend! Except in this instance, of course you do!This book is a high point in the misadventures series. Can't wait for the next one.I love the way both characters try to fight their destiny, both working to not let falling in love overcome individual ambition.This might be the crux of why I wholeheartedly believed in these two. Both are achievers, both understand and support the others drive to succeed.

I adored this. I'm chipping away at one of my favourite authors backlist and I just love she writes banter between her characters. This friends to "buddies" to forever story made me cry and made me laugh and made me wanna listen to George Michael. It was so cute. Tyler was such a loyal, smart, funny hero with a massive heart and Zooey was sassy and perfect for Tyler. Together they made me smile. I don't foresee a time when this author let's me down.

Wow where do I start, who New when opening this book you'd fall in to a world where the guy is a a football player aka Tyler and a theatre freshman aka zooey, what start as a idea for freshman as zooey to lose her v card to a hot looking football play , turns into a story of 2 young people wanted to follow they've dreams and never given up but along the way they realize they were made for each other and that there love for one another will always being them back together.This book was full of love and it sucks you in from page one with the love and humour and you'll be reading it with a heartwarming smile and you will not be able to keep the smile from your face.Think has become one of my favorite book of all times x
