Misadventures of a Good Wife (Misadventures Book 6 (6)) Hardcover – October 3, 2017

2017 has been the year of unique storylines, and MoaGW is just one of many.This story has so many twists and turns and was so suspenseful that I couldn't tell which way was up. It was completely unexpected.I loved the connection between Kate and Price. That they were already married kind of lends itself to a reunion of sorts when he resurfaces, just adding more fuel to the fire and cementing the fact that they are made for each other.Admittedly, I hadn't even read the blurb because Meredith is a go-to author for me, hence why I was so thrown for a loop at the direction of the story. It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

Okay, seriously...where do I begin to start talking about how much I loved this book? I could go with the plot, which was such a twisting, turning, amazing story of epic proportions. I found myself gasping at so many places, floored that this story was woven with such credibility despite its OMFG opening chapters. Then between all the incredible story twists--and the true heart of the book--there is a second chance love story at its most aching, angsty, hot, and passionate best. Kate and Price's connection is so tangible and beautiful, I savored many scenes two and three times.Separately, I'm in awe of Helen Hardt and Meredith Wild's writing talents--but together, they take the craft of romantic storytelling to a new level of excellence. An incredible book.

I knew that this book was going to be exceptional, just look at who wrote it - two of my favourite authors. But even the word exceptional doesn't do it justice. With the amount if twists, turns, secrets and the characters themselves - I ws gripped from the very beginning. What a beginning it was too - holy moly it was H.O.T. HOT!!!!!What magnificent characters Kate and Price are, truly a match made in heaven, soulmates, theirs is a love that knows no boundaries. From the beginning you quickly realise that if they were ever separated, their lives would be completely shattered. Sadly that is exactly what happens - but how permanent will it be.The flow of this story is so meticulous, that it is impossible to tell which author is writing which part - that is the magic of this read. you simply cannot tell that it has been penned by two separate people. Joy, anger, suspense and danger are all brilliantly interwoven into this masterful story.An excellent addition to the Misadventure series. I am really looking forward to reading the next one. Loved this book it was every bit as good as the first book and this one was co authored by Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt!Kate and Price have had a great marriage and successful careers until the day Price flies overseas, and his plane goes down, there are no survivors.Kate is destroyed, and for an entire year lives the life of a ghost, and goes nowhere which really concerns Price's sister, Michelle. Michelle gets her to get ready for a 3 week vacation and they are on the plane within 24 hours! After a year of not even working, this is terrifying for Kate but she goes along.When they arrive they have to take a boat to the island and it is beautiful. Kate is about to get her whole world turned upside down! After burying her husband a year ago and pretty much grieving- with the exception of one assignment overseas, she has been living a half life.When they get to the island, Michelle and Kate have a glass of champagne and Michelle encourages Kate to go on a walk along the beach. Little did she know she is walking into the shock of her life!This book was great it had very good dialog, really awesome characters and a lot of sexual angst as well! The book crosses from one side of the world to the other, and the plot thickens from the first chapter to the very end.I gave this book 5***** awesome stars!

Misadventures of a Good Wife wasn’t at all what I expecting it to be in the best possible way. This book was full of hotness, suspense and secrets.One year ago Kate lost her husband in a plane crash. For one year Kate has just been going through the motions of life, trying heal from losing the love of her life, Price.Kate’s best friend Michelle who also happens to be Price’s sister talks Kate into taking a much needed vacation to a secluded island. As soon as Kate sets foot on the beach at the ville she swears she’s seeing a ghost when she spots Price walking toward her. This is where things get good. Can you imagine seeing the love of your life who you’ve thought was dead show up out of the blue? That would shock anyone.So after Kate and Price reunit is it forever or just for her time on the island? I’m not saying. READ the book. Can Price right leading Kate to believe he was dead in order to protect her? READ the book.So yes if you’re looking for a quick, hot, suspenseful read then this book is right up your alley.

I finished this book in one sitting! The plot keeps you so engrossed, you just have to know what’s going to happen next. The hot sex doesn’t hurt matters either! I love when Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt create something magical together. Alone, they are both phenomenal authors, but paired up, the creativity, character development and pacing are pure perfection. They are so welll matched, you can’t tell one voice from the other. Run, don’t walk, to get your copy of this Misadventure today!

This book was mediocre at best, I don’t mind a sexual thread running through a book but the sex in this was constant & repetitive and to be honest it seemed to be used as a distraction to pad out the story.

Omg I must say I totally loved this book I could not put it down until I finished it ooopsie I didn't get my cleaning done aha but if you love romance books this is a must and defiantly worth a read

A reasonable, though simple 'plot' but there are so, so many UNNECESSARY sexual 'encounters' between the husband and wife, completely dominating the story that it ceases to be enjoyable. Can a male perform so often, for so long? I don't think so. Each encounter is described in some detail, which in itself becomes boring after the first five or six times. It is quite a short story, in fact too short to accommodate all the sex.

Brilliant book ,very exiting ,couldn’t put it down ,definitely recommend it

This was a great book full of suspense and great characters I could not put it down.
