Worth the money and effort!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this kitchen set — it’s amazing! I bought it for my daughter’s 4th birthday and can’t wait to see her face when she plays with it. Assembly took a little time, but everything was clearly labeled and easy to organize. A few screws were tricky to align, and I do wish the microwave buttons worked, but those are very minor details. Overall, it’s a fantastic set and still a solid 5 stars from me!

Follow the other users tips/tricks! Great buy, fun to customize and fast great shipping by amazon
This is an amazing play kitchen. On ordering; swift delivery, I bought on prime day for about $80(great price). On building; if you are like me you order it months before Christmas and plan On not putting it together until Christmas Eve make sure you go through it and count the pieces at the very least to decrease chance of broken or missing parts and if you do have some you can get a replacement part or kitchen before it’s too late. I had no issues with my set.IMPORTANT TIPS; Listen to the tips on these reviews, they all hold true. Plan on spending an extra hour or two putting together ( my husband took extra long because he did not listen to all the tips I listed below), pay attention to white head screws being on the outside, keep screws a little loose and then tighten everything one all put together, do NOT use a drill ( to decrease likelihood of striped holes or broken plastic peices), leave the knobs on faucet loose so they are turnable for your kids and won’t break off.The perks of this kitchen: the ice cube maker makes sounds and lights up, the knobs are all turnable on the oven and click, the knobs on the faucet turn, the burners light up and make noise. What my kid thinks; SHE LOVES IT! She was saying “ahhh, ohh, yay” for hours on Christmas. She loves the phone also.Fun side ideas; I did some custom finishes on mine which helped to personalize it and make it look cute in our living room instead of a big toy isoar. I sanded, primed and spray painted all the handles, knobs and faucets gold. I bought touch lights on amazon (they have dimmers and timers on them with the help of a remote). I bought car headlight tape and taped over two so the oven has a red glow to it. I replaced the cheveron curtain with a fun Nate Burkus Fabric curtain and made a matching dish towel. I added 2 shelves ( pencil/utinsil) holders from the dollar store to the door for added storage. I added a command hook by the phone to hang her apron and chef’s hat. I bought on amazon the peel and stick subway tile to the back splash, and covered the counters with peel and stick marble contact paper to give it a little lore refined look. Buy storage containers for the cabinets. It makes parent lives soo much easier . I bought a 3 tier Mikasa basket off amazon also. I bought little gold baskets and a pencil cup for additional stylish storage ( also bought on amazon). Remember when buying containers for inside cabinets it’s very shallow so don’t get storage baskets too deep.Ending note; Take a look at my pictures to see what I did to customize. This is your chance creative parents to make your dream kitchen without breaking the bank. I’m jealous of my kid ha ha. Amazon did not disappoint with customer service and price and kidkraft delivered on quality given the price.

Best kitchen ever
Have had this now over a year, it shows some bumps and bruises, but it still looks darn good! I just put furniture sliders under to make it easier to grab the fallen toys behind it. One of the handles snapped in half but it was an easy fix with some superglue and baking soda. My kids still play with this daily they are 6&7.i have owned cheaper and have owned more expensive kids kitchens. This one by far is the best.

Lots of work, could be better setup
I set the kitchen up last night and it took just over three hours. About what I expected from other comments. I'm writing nothing about how my kid likes it cause this is for Christmas and she will wake up any minute now, and I am not at all concerned about how she likes the kitchen - she is going to go nuts over it and not want to leave the house for the Christmas party today. This review is purely for setup. What really made it take so long to set up is a few of the steps required angles and positioning that was very difficult to do without being able to see the hole I was trying to screw into. I found myself often sliding the wood around with the screw poking into it, trying to find where the screw hole was drilled. I had one where the hole was definitely not in the right spot, but that was for the decorative backplate so I just left one out.Two pre-built sections also had a screw fall out during construction and one went back in, but the other just kept falling back out. Looks like whoever did those ones before shipping went a little happy on the drill and stripped the wood. I don't think it really adds any structural integrity to the kitchen set so not too worried about it, but have to state it.

Great kitchen playset
I love this little kitchen and so doesy two year old! She hasn't left it alone since I assembled it. Plenty of play space and storage for all the play food and utensils. Perfect height for my very tall little one, she'll be able to play with it for years to come. My only complaint is that putting it together is definitely a two person job. I broke my toe by dropping the fridge door on it while trying to assemble it myself. But that's user error not product. Also don't use a drill.

Blown away
First off: this took me 3 hours to build. It was really testing my patience for building a toy. Be prepared to be slightly frustrated. Also it would be worth it to buy an electric screwdriver (or a drill on low torque). Okay so now that I’ve said that, this is simply the highest quality play kitchen I think you can buy. Hands down. All the pieces were machined perfectly. I thought while building it that something wouldn’t line up correctly in the end but I was wrong. It was perfect. The only thing I think would be nice would be microwave buttons that beep and can be pressed. Other than that, this is the best kitchen and I’m sold on buying other items from KidKraft in the future. Lastly, my daughter LOVES it. She is constantly “cooking” something for us to eat and I think that it has helped foster a good interest in cooking for her. She always wants to be involved in cooking at dinner time now. I wish I had this when I was a kid.
