Great sun hat!
I have shingles post neuralgia on my face. The flaps on the side of hat and the wide brim enables me to go outside in the Utah heat. Without it, I have a hard time just making it to the mailbox. The front flap goes down below my eyes and is breathable. I use it quite a lot. It’s comfortable, lightweight and does its job.I would recommend to anyone, with or without issues with the sun.

Amazing sun protection
As long as everything is snapped into place you have total protection from the sun. With that being said, you are able to unsnap and detach a lot of the panels, giving this item a bunch of function versatility and style options. Great for leisure exercising like walks, but can also sustain a 5k run (have done both). Would highly recommend if you live in high sun exposure areas. Size wise, there is a velcro strap in the back of the hat that allows adjustments that should fit almost anyone (gave it to my mom who has braids to try and and it did fit, but she also didn't keep it on for long because she was overheating). Also awesome for quarantine purposes (the ultimate face mask!).

Great hat w/one fatal design flaw that will rip your hair out
There are so many things I love about this hat but it does have one very significant flaw which is the only reason why I considering returning the hat.PROS-Great looking hat and looks to be a quality product. Very feminine (doesn’t look like a men’s floppy fishing hat) and looks fine while I’m out in the yard, in the neighborhood or even shopping-Longest brim I’ve been able to find. I think the brim is over 5 inches in length. Doesn’t look ridiculous at all and gives great sun protection even without the face shield-Lightweight fabric. I can breathe very easily through the face shield as there is a lot of air that gets through.-Great 360 degree protection:When I have the hat on w/the neck and face shield I feel so fully protected. I don’t know why I didn’t order something like this sooner. The neck shield is also easy to remove - has snaps.CONS or OBSERVATION-HORRIBLE face shield design to attach to hat w/velcro to attach face shield: The face shield fastens far into the interior of the hat. Every time you pull the shield to fasten to the hat, the velcro catches your hair and you have to painfully extricate the hair from the velcro to get it off. I’ll likely go bald on my head where the velcro attaches if I used this hat every day w/in a month. It’s such a terrible, fatal design error. I don’t know why they didn’t use snaps. It would be perfect. You can mitigate by tucking the face shield to the snap on the exterior of the hat but it’s annoying.-I wish they would substantiate the UPF 50+ claims however. How do they know it’s truly UPF 50?So I’m on the fence here. It’s a lovely hat. I could use the hat w/out the face shield as I love the large brim and the neck flap but I really wanted the face shield.

Customizable sun protection
This hat is fantastic for keeping the sun off the face and neck and each part is easy to detach and reattach. The mask will blow up in your face on windy days which is really annoying when paddle boarding or kayaking. also when you bend over to do gardening/weeding, the mask falls forward and makes it difficult to see. Fortunately the wide brim keeps most the sun off your face and the hat stays on securely in the wind.I will look for some light weight gator to wear around the neck and pull up. I also like how transportable this hat is for travel. It is much more attractive than my old cumbersome wide brim hats. I get lots of compliments when hiking.

An Attractive and Functional Sun Visor with Many Features and Different Modes of Wear
I ordered this Sun Visor/Hat by Lenikis because of its versatility and multiple options of wear. I like the solid one-color design and decided that the Khaki color was a perfect neutral color that is a light enough color that it doesn't absorb too much heat when out in the sun. The large brim is about 5.8” deep, enough to keep the sun out of my face but not large enough to cover my vision as well. There are five different attachments included with the visor itself that can easily be detached or attached. This is probably the singular feature that I really like— the option to remove the various attachments if I don’t want to use them. The visor can be easily transformed to a hat by attaching the hat dome on the visor using a zipper mechanism. The dome doesn’t cover the entire back of the head and leaves a hole for people who have tie their hair in a ponytail. The underside of the visor has a convenient moisture-wicking sweatband area to control sweat flow. There is also a neck cover you can attach to the back of the visor using snap buttons if you’re highly sensitive to the sun and don’t want to incur sunburns or rashes. I like how the snap buttons are the same color as the visor so they don’t stand out even when I’m not using the neck cover. In addition, there is a face cover that can be attached via Velcro patches to the inside of the hat. The nose and mouth section of the face cover is made of breathable mesh material. Although I don’t think I will be using the face cover mode often, I still like the option that I can if I choose. There is also a slide clasp on the inside of the hat that you can attach the chin strap to as well. The chin strap is adjustable using the dangling pull knob.Overall, this sun visor-hat meets all my functional expectations. The price point is very reasonable for all the features it gives you. When not in use, you can conveniently roll up the visor/hat and store it inside your bag. There is one adjustment that I made due to physical preference and that is to adjust the bow on the side of the hat to a more classical bow shape. I did this using a needle and some thread. This is a great purchase if want a hat that protects your head, neck, and face from the sun.
