I have never bled a master cylinder in my life until today, and this kit was definitely helpful. A few things I would say about it:- not "commercial grade" but good enough for amateur / recreational / occasional use.- no instructions, but it's very straightforward if you have a vague idea of what it's supposed to do, plus there's the internet.- I was lazy and neglected to use the included tape. It still worked fine (SAE fittings), but I would still recommend not being lazy and actually use the tape.- the hose DID let a bit of air in upon initial priming, until I pushed it all the way on, then it was fine.- obviously there are more complicated sets that include a piston pusher, but for the price difference I was fine with just using a ratchet end to pump the cylinder.At time of order, this was around $12. Was it twelve dollars useful for a first-(and hopefully only)-timer? Absolutely. Could you find a cheaper set? Maybe, but with fewer parts, and for the price point this set was nice for not having to obsess ahead of time which size fittings I would need, since it came with a reasonably wide array.

Come with every fitting, SAE and metric needed.The fittings I used, 10mm sealed w/o using supplied tape. One needed a eighth turn w a wrench.Bleeding took longer than it should because hose connection leaked air back into cylinder on release of the push rod so 3 stars.

I ordered this kit to use while teaching master cylinder bench bleeding in a high school automotive class.The set includes everything I will need to fit various master cylinders.The set is inexpensive and should work for me.The quality of the plastic does not look that great but was not expecting it to be that great for the price.

This is a must-have kit or anyone who works on cars or bikes. I used this to replace a brake and clutch master cylinder on my car. I wanted to ensure there was no air trapped in the master cylinder. There are a lot of different sized threaded adapters and I was able to find the correct ones for my application. This kit works really well and the materials are durable. I look forward to using this for a long time. It has a permanent place in my tool box.
