Connemara marble handmade primitive style cross pendant measures approx 37mm x 22cm (1 1/2" x 1" approx) and approx 4mm deep, pictured here on a brown leather thong which measures approx 18 - 20" long. This pendant is unusual as you can see from the photos, it has two distinctively different sides - one side is left rough as it was cut from the outside of the vein of marble whilst the other side is of a nice bright yellow green marble with creamy inclusions. It narrows considerably in depth towards the base of the cross. It is topped with a creamy white lavastone bead. You can choose different style of necklaces for your Connemara marble piece. Black or brown 2mm diameter leather and it can come 18" to 20" in length with a lobster clasp fastening or be made with adjustable sliding barrel knots, so that it can be adjusted to whatever length you find most comfortable from about 12" to 26" or so. If you would prefer a silver necklace approx 18" in length, please ask - some pendants will be able to be worn on a chain whilst others will not be suitable. Each of my Connemara marble pieces is different and OOAK as each individually handcrafted and I polish them all with beeswax rather than by spray varnishing them, so they are not as glossy when purchased, but when they are worn they pick up the skin oils and they become more beautiful and the patterning on them more defined and shiny with wear.
