I ordered this for my preteen and teenage daughters to make and use for themselves. The kit comes with everything you need and clear instructions. I love that it has different flavors and that there is basically a chart telling you how strong the flavors will be based on how much you put in. I also love that it is natural and gmo free.I can definitely see how you might need a little adult supervision for younger kids, just because you are dealing with small amounts and potential spills but for ages 9+ it is pretty self contained to just hand to the kids and let them go. My girls really enjoyed making the lip balm and now they each have their own tube, individually labeled with their own art. Pretty cool kit!

I love this Melt & Mix Lip Balm Kit. I ordered it for my 13 year old daughter who is usually sensitive to the store bought lip balms. She just loves it, It looks great when we opened the box, to the easy to follow directions, great flavors you can mix and match. OMG, this kit is soooo cute.I ordered the original balm kit first and fell in love with how easy it is to custom make high quality lip balms.So when I saw this mini kit was available, I thought this would make a great gift though now it’s here, I don’t know if I keep it myself.... lol.I absolutely recommend this product!

I just made my lip balms and love the texture and moisture of the product. Great flavors and I even blended them. Just placed another order to make some for my nieces and sisters. A Great buy and very easy. I even added a bit of color to mine by snipping off a piece of my favorite lip liner into the mixer and it set perfect.

So much fun....until...the crying that their lips were burning started and the faces started turning red and puffy around the lips. Made for a memorable birthday party for sure. Note: the cinnamon is VERY potent, as only a couple drops were allowed per tube. Fortunately there is plenty of lip balm base included so we were able to ditch the cinnamon and start over! Well put together kit though and great fun for tween age girls :)

I purchased this Valentine's day mini kit for a gift. It arrived very quickly. It has everything needed to make 6 lip balms in this mini kit. Most importantly it made a great project for a grandmother and granddaughter to do together.
