I really enjoyed reading this and it was a lot of help with my first couple of foals. I don't think it would be of interest to the professional breeder but is would definately make a good gift for yourself or anyone who was taking up breeding in a small way. It has a lot of pointers about when not to panic and what is normal and to be expected.I have 2 lovely foals now (with healthy mums) so IMHO all was worth it!

this book is great for all those whowish to gain knowledge about stud management and who wish to go into the breeding side of the equine world.
