I am a huge fan of this device. Dramatically improved my GERDS within days. I will recommend this to everyone I know with GERDS. It arrived well before the promised shipping date of 2-3 weeks which was a plus, but it was still longer than I would have liked. Although the packaging was roughed up a bit due to the weight and size of the item, there was no discernable damage to the item. I don't agree with the reviewer that said this item was poorly manufactured. Yes, it is not perfectly smooth aircraft quality finishing and polishing, but the finishing quality is what I would expect from a bed frame and nothing unsafe. I thought the design was ingenious, simple, and effective. Maybe they resolved it, maybe the reviewer's expectations are unrealistic. I did not think it was difficult to put together. People who complain about that probably pay to have thier wipers changed. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Dealing with getd, causing sinus issues, it was recommended I incline my bed for relief. This unit provided the necessary elevation, which has definitely improved my symptoms. I’d say the only downside to this is the fact that this frame sits on top of your existing frame, with no attachment. This causes some “grinding” as you get on/off bed. This is compounded by having a king bed, which entails two units side by side. The set up is solid, just some explainable noise that might be eliminated with some additional tie in between existing frame & this addition. Still very happy!

While the Beds Up, Bed Elevating Inclined Frame Insert meets the overall objective of inclining the mattress, the design and far from stellar manufacturing quality leaves a sour taste; for such a high price. Frames are nearly a foot too short for a standard King size mattress! Support legs bend very easily. Powder coating on the lower end of the quality scale. Rusty and corroded parts. Burrs crowning nearly every hole, forcing bolts askew; and shredding fabric. Return shipping costs are ridiculous, so I completed the unfinished frame fabrication with my trusty Dremel.

I ordered this product to reduce/eliminate the acid reflux/congestion in the morning. Maybe it will help some snoring? TBDBut this review is of the product/assembly.The frame material, etc. is exactly like the existing bed frame. Sturdy, color. The materials were there. No skimping on the nuts and bolts.Here's the rub. The assembly instructions were a total waste. First they were in with a bag of nuts and bolts, so they were half ripped. Why do companies with a quality engineered product insult you with such trash? #1 push on the white caps.......! Oh come on, I could have figured that one out! Then I watched the U-tube instruction video. There a man in a white shirt and tie shows me how to push on the plastic end caps for a minute.....! Come on....!Fortunately the web site showed an assembled picture . Figured it out myself.

This frame (actually pair of frames to match the two twin-size box springs supporting our King mattress) was pretty easy to set up and fit well into my wooden bed furniture (wooden frame with 3 cross pieces and built-in headboard with cabinets). I was easy to adjust and appeared quite flexible in the size configurations possible. It did seem rather expensive for what I got, but it is hopefully going to improve my wife's bed-time/morning coughing due to reflux.

Head of the bed elevation is a very effective treatment for GERD proven by multiple scientific studies. Google them. Beds Up offers a very elegant and sturdy solution. Using extra pillows is no the same. That causes you to bend in your abdomen and can actually worsen your GERD. The blocks under the legs of the bed are not stable and can damage your bed frame. Beds up is solid without squeaks and rattle. It's a set it and forget it type of solution for GERD. There are no side effects like with taking acid blockers. Don't eat large meals in the evening and don't eat at all 3 hours before going to bed. Reduce alcohol, caffeine, garlic, onion, tomato, chocolate and mint. The $300 investment is worth every penny when you can prevent esophageal cancer, strictures or lung disease from reflux.

Very hard to install, but worth it. Helps with my acid reflux at night.
