I tried these in several places. They are definitely much less light than reveal and LED tho much more pleasant. I cannot tolerate LED for a number of reasons, including the blue light and the glare, the negative health effects etc so I much prefer reveal or other incandescent. When I placed 3 in my lamp in the living room, they worked last night. Today, two would were not working. When I tried two new ones, they also would not work; however the reveal do work and have been working for a looooong time. Yet when I tried the vintage in another light it worked. Try explaining this ?!

My husband bought these for the kitchen pendant lights. He is sensitive to bright white light, so for him, they are perfect. For my needs, cooking, reading, needing adequate light, I prefer white light. Their yellowish glow is ambient, but not functional for me. Thankfully there is other additional lighting, so we compromise!

At full brightness, these are very yellow. We really like these at half brightness using a dimmer. Genuinely feels like candle light. If you want a bright white light, these are not for you. 5 stars because there is nothing quite like them if you want an incandescent non-LED candelabra bulb that is warm colored.

These transformed my kitchen into a speakeasy, now ghosts show up out of the past and drink all my liquor, they ought to come with a warning or at least something to wipe off the ectoplasm.

Very yellow, which I wasn't anticipating, but as long as that is what you are going for, they are great!

My wife and I bought a new light fixture for our dining room and wanted a gastropub/steampunk look. These lights helped us get the look and feel we wanted. They are not too bright and have a nice glow to them. Recommended!

Gives my dinning room a very romantic feel. I love them.
