Just received the product. have not used it yet BUT. It is advertise as a 'Heated Butter Knife' but on receiving the item the box makes no mention of butter instead saying 'Cheese and Cream knife'2, The listing advert says it includes a manual. No it does not. There is a tiny scrap of paper but no real instructions.3. No info on how long it takes to charge the knife.Added a few days later here is a letter I sent to them. No reply received (yet)I am very confused by this product. Here are 7 questions. Please reply and explain how to use this knife. I was expecting a helpful user manual with it but all we got was a useless scrap of paper.1. In the Amazon listing it says:Simply hold it on the cheese or cream for 5 to seconds for it to nicely melt.But I thought it was to spread butter not to hold it on a block of butter to melt it.2. In the Amazon listing it says:And the butter spreader can work 4-5 times for each full battery.How many slices of bread do you mean each time. In other words 4 or 5 times left on for how many minutes?3. On the small piece of paper enclosed with the product it says:Press the key to start. Press again to stop. So how do I adjust the temperature. See next question.4. In the Amazon listing it says:Low Heat Grade(about 50℃,for the butter not so frozen),indicator will turn from Orange(heating process)into Green(constant at 50℃) after 1-2 minutes.Another is High Heat Grade(about 75,for more frozen butter),indicator will turn from Red(heating process)into Green(constant at 75℃)When I turn it on it goes RED and stays red5. In the Amazon listing it says:butter melting heated knife takes no more than 3 or 4 minutes to reach the highest temperature of 167℉(degrees Fahrenheit)But when I turn it on and leave it for 3 or 4 minutes the light goes fro red to off6. In the Amazon listing it says:Pushing the button again and again,the 2 mode will switch correspondingly.No. If I push the button it is red. If I push it again it goes off. If I push it another time it is red again.7. On the small piece pf paper enclosed with the product it says:Indicator light will stay on when charging and off when charge is finishedWhen I plug it in the indicator light flashes. After about 4 hours it stopped flashing and just stayed on.

Chinese made garbage. The charging cable came apart which meant I had to use another usb cable. Yes, it does get hot, but I would not trust it to stay safe based on the quality of the charge cable. Even the description is part gibberish. How crap products like these even manage to get on sale in this country is beyond me.

Great if you want real butter on your bread in the winter. I have not had any problems with it.

Takes a while to heat up, then your butter cools it down quickly so it just doesn’t work. I got more butter on my toast by rubbing the cold butter on the hot toast, not ideal, but worked better. I returned it a wiser person.

I bought this product to help me make sandwich spread more easier.. and I was amazed it does what it says about the product. and it does knife is heating so when you put a butter to your toast is it great! and it is rechargeable no need to buy batteries!

I'd give this 10/10 if I could, what a brilliant idea, I can now use cold butter straight from the fridge, no more butter substitutes that spread straight from the fridge!
