Oren Ishii Kill Bill Fully Functional Forged Steel Snowflake Shirasaya Sword with Free Stand by Hanzo Steel Brand

I just recieved mine today and I have to say I am beyond impressed! The blade is sharp as ****, It's pure beauty, And I couldnt be more satisfied. I am one the the biggest kill bill fans you'll ever meet and was beyond happy that I could find such a good sword/replica for a good price that was so accurate! I will be purchasing more swords/knives from amazon in the future. Thanks so much!

Didn't come with any type of paperwork, and while the sword does feel like it's got some weight to it, there really is no way to tell if it truly is 1060 carbon steel. The metal guard by the handle also came discolored out of the box, from sharpening I imagine, since the whole blade had oil and waxy residue on it, but it remained discolored after I cleaned the blade. Not a bad buy overall, just wish it came with some sort of paperwork.

Good item for my collection. Its worth the small amount you pay. Good sturdy katana.. Looks exactly like O-Rens in Kill Bill.. Came with a stand too which was a nice surprise. This sword arrived boxed in a Hanzo Steel box with a free display case with the Hanzo symbol on it. I needed this to help complete my Kill Bill katana collection. This is 1060 carbon steel, which is extremely good grade for a replica, and is very sharp. I would recomend this sword, because it is not only a great looking replica, but a well balanced functional sword. It is also one of the best Oren-Ishii replicas I have seen. Katana with no tsuba need extra skill to use, so I don't recomend you swing this wildly. If you want a complete Kill Bill Sword collection you will also need The Brides Sword used by Beatrix Kiddo, Bill's Sword, and Budd's Sword. Most are available under 100 dollars if you look carefully. Try to get the carbon steel ones with the black tsuba, sharp blade, and leather handle with real ray skin.

This is the only true accurate replica of the sword of Oren Ishii form the Kill Bill movie. The actual sword is beautiful and the picture on the website does not do it justice. It is well balanced and the weight allows for a much faster swing speed. The blade is very sharp and had no problem slicing through green bamboo shoots. This sword is truely a work of art.
