One of the best books I have ever read.
Sequel to the life changing book 'The Courage To be Disliked'. Just like it's prequel this book has a collection of dialogues of conversation between a wise philosopher and a ordinary man who even after gaining the knowledge the Alderian Philosophy of living life from the philosopher seems unhappy and describes the philosophy as ideal with no practicality. Chapter by chapter the philosopher tells the man more deeply about Alder and his philosophy and how can one achieve true happiness.

Brilliant
What an amazing journey from “Courage to be disliked” to “Courage to be happy”….I am not a ‘self guide’ book lover at all……self guide is not my cup of tea. I started the previous book ‘Courage to be disliked’ because of my deep interest in psychiatry, psychology and philosophy…..and i was sure that i am going to love the book even after reading the preface and 2-3 pages only. That book made sure that i will read this book too.I never believed in LIFE CHANGING kind of claim about any book, movie or anything. I say that ‘life changing’ is a bit exaggeration to lure the possible customer of your product. But this pair of Adlerian Psychology is not less than a life IMPROVING push…. This feels unbelievable that psychology can be explained in such a simple way contrary to our text books. You will surely connect with each and every explanation and example given in the books. There can be no simpler way to explain ‘interpersonal relationships’, ‘life tasks’, ‘separation of tasks’, ‘self reliance’, ‘sense of belonging’, ‘love’, ‘happiness’ and so many other life aspects.Even if you are not into psychology or philosophy these books still deserve a special place on your book shelf. Go through these and you wont regret a bit. After reading both the books one thing which i am sure about is ‘my life is not changed…..but its IMPROVED’, for sure.Your life is not like a continuous LINE from point of birth to point of death, rather its collection of so many points in between these two. You are living your life of present point, free from your past and free from your future, so dance this moment, dance this present and make it the best possible version of you.I am going to read more and more about this topic, reserving a separate space in my book shelf for more books on Adlerian psychology.

Strong Medicine
Adler's philosophy is indeed a powerful medicine for life-mind-blowing once you drink the water after reaching the water's edge.

Couldn’t connect with this
I have read ‘The courage to be disliked’ and that was very intriguing read, have re read that but this seems to be not connecting me, it may be good for others but it doesn’t come under unputdownable section for sure.

Exceptional
Thought provoking and stimulating. Especially about making one's destiny rather than it being something that happens to us. Refreshing read indeed.

Good but for the heavy reader
First off read the book- COURAGE TO BE DISLIKED, the series of books with this title are a little heavy for the beginners. This needs reading with patience and may need slow reading as the meanings are deeper on what it conveysIf you are looking for a simple read- avoid, but if you are used to reading what has deep meaning, go for it. Read a few pages first on the preview if you get any and then buy if you like.
