I tested it out on several vehicles (2002 Silverado, 2014 Camry, 2019 Mustang) and it was able to auto ID all of them. It of course has the standard code reading and clearing ability. But it also features I/M readiness, which is very helpful in emissions states. You can view and graph live data from a variety of inputs. It also has a couple features not often seen on budget scanners like a built in battery test, a code definition library, and ability to view freeze frame data. The scanner connects shockingly fast. It comes with free software updates and is easy enough to do using the included USB cable.
