Blonde Hairdressers Training Head Dummy Long Hair

First, know that I bought this as a gift for my teenage daughter. In my view, its a little creepy but she thinks its just the ticket - she uses it for practicing some pretty complex hairstyles and has even uploaded the result to Instagram (so I guess the dummy has completely fulfilled its purpose).To look at, its a soft-ish plastic dummy, slightly smaller perhaps than a real head, with long blonde synthetic hair. The dummy clamps to a table top with lightweight clamps - the clamps are fine for regular use but are not rigid in the face of serious pushing/pulling.The hair is fine and appears quite easy to shape and sculpt (but I'm no expert here) and will hold the plaits and twists correctly. Its also longer than it appears in the pictures - plenty long enough for some intricate designs. The only downside so far is some initial loss of hair strands but not sufficient to impact its use. However, I can't yet comment on whether this will be a problem long term.

Purchased for the purpose of playing 'hairdressers' at an afterschool club. The children love the long hair and so far it is standing up well to the rigours of much brushing and plaiting. So far they have not asked to wash the hair yet and of course our hairdryers are all pretend. Product arrived earlier than I expected,

Very good for placing hats on for my photography uses, the hair is not great for a training dummy for hairdressers as it easily falls out, but it is ok to pleat etc, added bonus is the made up face, suited my purpose as a backdrop and hat stand.

Just as described. Would have liked some instructions as to whether the chair can be washed,curled or straightened though. 10 year old daughter loves it.

Great for learning to comb hair and practice new styles

This is great for my 11th year old daughter to practise hairstyles on, the hair is really long although casts a bit.

The hair falls out ocasionly but great for styling. it cannot handle heat but worth the money i spent also the clamp works well.
