When I ordered these I didn't realize they were just tips! I thought they were the whole nail. However they actually served my purpose perfectly! I had gotten a fungus on my big toe and the nail was removed and is now growing back but not all the way grown out and looks so ugly that way. So I was able to glue on the tip and it looks perfect now! Now I can wear open shoes for what's left of the season before winter comes and being in Florida can probably wear them thru much of the winter as well! It was very easy to polish also with the polish going on very smoothly. It truly looks totally natural! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is having the situation I have now. Also they are very flexible like a soft plastic which makes it so much easier to get it to stick on even when your nail isn't totally smooth. It just molds right onto your nail. I am very very happy with this purchase. It's also a HUGE kit with many many nails! Ladies you can't go wrong with these!
