Works well for the price, don't expect amazing picture quality
Works well for the price. I used it to peer inside my cylinders in my car to gain understanding of how much carbon is being built up on the cylinder heads. It worked okay for this purpose. The inclusion of the lights at the end was nice (not that there are really any endoscopes without this feature), but the picture quality was pretty bad. It was sufficient to get a general understanding of the carbon deposits but I wasn't able to make out much detail. But honestly for the price it accomplished exactly what I was expecting out of it, so I give it 5 stars.

Casual use "snake" camera
It will serve my purpose. Not for heavy use - USB plug quite weak - actually bends easily. Software for Android has locked up the phone a couple times, likely not the fault of the product.

Seems like old picture technology at a budget price.
Out of the box it seems like a pretty decent build quality for the price although the wire is basically as stiff as a standard USB cable for charging your phone. It did work with my PC with camera software I already installed for a microscope. That was nice. There were quite a few cons though. The instructions were to download an app for your android device called AN98 or CameraFi on the Google play store or download the software in a .rar file from a .cn website that has in red writing under it, "we promise NO VIRUS INCLUDED!!." I got a good chuckle from that. The camera did power up on my Nexus 7 and Fire HD 10 but the apps did not detect the camera. I even tried the CameraFi 2.0 and several other generic cam apps and could not get the camera to operate on the Android devices.The picture quality on my PC is just ok. I would say it's a stretch calling it a 720p camera as far as "HD" is concerned. When moving the camera I noticed if you got too close to an object and the camera was having trouble focusing it would bog the signal down. The picture would completely freeze until you backed the camera quite a ways away from whatever it was too close to. The LED is nice as without it most everything is too dark for the camera to pick up.The attachments are a sleeve for attaching the hook or magnet and a 45 degree angle mirror. You can slide the hook or magnet through the sleeve and that pushes the attachment against the camera. One problem is the orientation of the metal makes the end point gouge into the barrel of the camera scratching the black finish. I guess it's not bad if you're not constantly changing parts though. I didn't submerge it in water to test it's waterproofing because doing that puts your android or USB device at risk for damage.Overall the price is low so I guess it does function as a basic Endoscope, but if you're looking for ease of use and good quality I'd budget a little more.
