I've used the larger one a couple of times now to melt chocolate. It works just like a double boiler should. Mine did not come with a spatula, though

Works great with my existing pots
What can I say, they do what double boilers are supposed to do. It is great having two sizes. The small one is great for melting chocolates, and the larger is great for things like cheese sauces, etc. The design lets you use them in multiple sized pans, so you can pretty much use whatever you have with these. The stainless seems like good quality, I have not had any issues with it. They clean up fine and are dishwasher safe. I only wish I had bought them years ago.
