Flavorful
I actually like this dressing more as a marinade than as a a dressing. It is nicely balanced although on a salad the sesame flavor dominates. I found that when using as a marinade the ginger comes through. Overall it adds some Eastern flair to y9ou food. Love the organic ingredient list. It is refreshing to have ingredients listed that are not only recognizable but desirable. Overall a flavorful dressing.

Not for me.
Oh, I didn't like this. It was just too strong. I only used a little and the flavor of the actual salad was completely overwhelmed.May work well as a marinade, but this particular flavor simply wasn't for me or my family. The sesame taste was a little to overpowering. The ginger did come through, but not as strongly as I thought it might. All in all, this one wasn't for me.

Great bottle, but I'm not a fan of the taste
The consistency of this dressing is very good, but I'm not a fan of the taste. I wish that I could describe better what I don't like, but it's just not something that I like.I do love the sturdy plastic bottle that it comes in, though, which is ideal for shipping. That, and they did a very good job with the seal at the top to keep the lid from coming undone during shipping. As someone who's had more than one bottle leak when ordered from Amazon, I appreciate those details. So, a great bottle and good consistency, but just not something that I like.

Better As A Marinade
I've been working my way through Wickedly Prime's organic dressing offerings, and last night I cracked open the bottle of Shiitake Sesame Ginger. It's good. I used it as a marinade for grilled chicken as well as on my salad. While it has a very savory flavor over crisp lettuce and veggies, I like it better has a marinade. It's a little too salty to use straight for my tastes. On the plus side, there is zero sugar and all of the organic ingredients are pretty healthy. While I like the flavor, it didn't quite gel for me as a dressing that I'd want to use all of the time. It packs a flavor punch, and a little goes a long way.~ Kort

Very versatile - pairs well with beef in particular, but also a good marinade or stir fry addition
This pairs well with beef. The color is a rich dark golden brown. It's not only good on a steak salad, but can be used as a good beef marinade. This is probably my favorite Wickedly Prime dressing that I've tried for its versatility. It is rich and earthy, and very well balanced. It's almost....beefy...all by itself. It has all the best flavor of mushrooms and a strong hint of ginger without being hot or overpowering. This would also be excellent in beef or pork fried rice, or a beef/pork based stir-fry. It adds a bit of ginger and a lot of depth. As a salad dressing, I find it the perfect thickness for what it is. It is not a creamy dressing, but it has a body. It pours easily, and it tosses easily. It will run a bit if you just pour it on, but if you put it on before serving and toss it, it coats well and doesn't pool.It is non-GMO.

It’s missing the ginger & shiitake flavor.
The wife had the chance to try the sesame shiitake ginger dressing as I am not big of a fan of ginger but she is. The dressing is tangy and light but bland. She had to add extra sprinkles of salt and pepper. She was also a little disappointed because the ginger and shiitake flavor was loss and she couldn’t taste it. However, the sesame and vinegar flavor is very forward on this dressing.

mushroom is the strongest flavor, but good balance overall
This is a fatty dressing with complexity which has a dominant mushroom flavor. I would have liked more of a ginger kick, but I'm I like more intense ginger flavors than most people. The soy sauce is well-balanced in this which is good because it's so easy for soy sauce to overwhelm the flavors. The dressing is thick and works very well as a marinade on meat because it clings so well that you don't have to douse it. In fact, you can use it more like a “rub” by just spreading a little on chicken or fish with the back of a spoon and just letting it sit in a covered dish for however long you like. Since my primary use for this is as a marinade, this is a point that I like very much. That being said, I think this is the hardest flavor to match with food. I liked it best with fish (both to marinate and as a side sauce). I did not try this on a conventional salad, however.
