This "Shockproof" shell has a great look, but it's to light to actually protect your $800 investment if dropped face first. In defense of the vendor, they do say in the product description that the shell is light and is soft TPU silicone, so there is no mis-direction there. The Galaxy 8's buttons protrude just enough for you to use them with the shell. Again, the shell "Looks Great!!" on the phone...but if you want real protection, I would suggest another more durable product. I give it a 3-star rating because it makes the Galaxy 8 phone look "Sexy".

It is a nice case with good design and construction, especially for such a budget pricing. I've used it for about 2~3 months now and haven't faced any critical issues with the case so far. It has a lip so that your phone won't come in contact with the surface when laying face down. It also has enough protection to save your phone from damage from light drops. It is made of quality material and the carbon fiber design on the back is sexy and is textured. There is one problem though. The top and bottom of the case from the front sags a little bit. Without sag, it would cover all of the aluminum bands around my S8 but due to sagging, you can see small parts of the aluminum band exposed. I can't comment on whether this is an isolated defect with the case I received or a widespread issue. This does not hinder the protection capabilities of the case at all. It just makes it not as good looking than it would be if it were perfect.

I really like the carbon fiber design and feel of the back, but this case has issues.1. Overall too flimsy and easy to accidentally pull away from the phone during every day hold/use.2. No room for metal plate for magnetic mounts. Adding one exacerbates issue #1.3. Obstructs the fingerprint sensor requiring inordinate amount of scan attempts before print is recognized. I believe the issue is the case is too thick around the sensor not allowing finger to get close enough.4. Buttons are too hard to press. Prefer a case that provides access to the phones buttons directly.

The case perfect fit with my Samsung Galaxy S8 and fully protect my phone. It is thin and lightweight and case back looks nice carbon fiber.

I am returning this case. The case is thin and sleek to a fault. The case does not seem adequately thick to prevent against drop damage. The case also seemed to not fit well as in it did not fit very tightly around the phone (I was concerned the case would come off with normal use). The buttons also are not responsive. I had to push significantly hard to work the buttons on the edge of the phone. The back is sleek, but it is slippery in the palm of your hand, which is not good when you're holding on to a several hundred dollar phone.

Nice fit without adding a lot of bulk. The carbon fiber finish looks really nice. Just what I wanted to keep a sleek look and feel.

Terrible, doesn't provide any protection on sides and you can't insert a headphone adapter. How can anyone give this a good review?!?

The cases fits perfect and is very secure. The phone is very is to take in and out. Looks great and is super low profile.
