Phosphor Appear The Phosphor Appear watch line skillfully blends design and technology to craft the ultimate fashion timepiece. Driven by proprietary Micro-Magnetic Mechanical Digital (M3D) technology, Appear watches utilize miniature-sized rotors adorned with Swarovski crystals that revolve to reveal numerical or chronological information. With each passing minute, an electrical pulse generates an electromagnetic field that changes the position of the crystals on the face of the watch, while producing a distinctively unique sound. Inspired by ruggedized, urban street signs, the Appear watch offers a bold and elegant spin on the traditional fashion watch. The watch face offers "seconds" and "off" modes which show an entire face of crystals. Features: :: Case diameter: 44mm :: Overall case thickness: 14.5mm :: Water resistance: 5 ATM - 50m :: Display: 12-hour only :: Functions: Time, Seconds, and Off Micro-Magnetic Digital M3D TechnologyExclusively in Phosphor Appear The Micro-Magnetic Mechanical Digital™ (M3D) technology enables the following display benefits: • Infinite Display Appearances: The rotatable rotors can be oriented in a variety of different layouts, while any material can be affixed onto the rotatable rotors ranging from Swarovski™ crystals, to precious metals or gems, to almost anything imaginable. • Ultra High Contrast: Depending on material or paints affixed to the rotatable rotors the M3D display technology can achieve the highest contrast of any digital display available today matching that of ink on paper in some configurations. • Low Power Consumption: The M3D display technology is bi-stable meaning that the display requires no power to maintain an image, as power is only needed when transitioning from one time to another. • Wide Viewing Angle: With a viewing cone of 180°, the M3D technology overcomes the disadvantages of conventional displays when it comes to off-axis viewing. Together with its high contrast, it allows the user to read the time at a glance from any angle.

Awesome watch
This is an awesome watch. However, this watch is a big man sized watch. I am not sure it should be listed as a Women's watch. Perhaps it can be listed as unisex, I believe the Phosphor shows this watch under both Men and Women. Still take note that it is large and chunky.Having written all that, this watch worked great for me as I bought it for a guy. It is a statement piece that attracts attention and looks great on. It makes an awesome gift.I secretly wish I bought it for myself.

pretty but too big
Looked and felt great except that the face was way too big. I don't have a particularly small wrist, but it was still way too large for my taste.

It looks really great
I'm in love with the way that this watch looks. Its big but not over the top and gaudy. I get compliments on it everytime i wear it. The only problem I have is that I had to readjust the band for my small wrist. a couple day ago the pin feel out of one of the link and the extra ones I have don't seem to fit the particular part. Maybe a couple extra pins could be included or both sizes..

Love love love!
This is my second Phosphor watch having purchased my first years ago as part of the early crowd funding to get the brand happening. Well made with amazing unique styling. It is a big watch and makes a statement but not OTT bling except under strong light. Sadly, Phosphor is no more so buy the last stock while you can.

Amazing watch, horrid customer service!
I love my watch. It's my most favored watch in my collection and I wear it almost every day. I don't have a tiny wrist but it did need adjusting but I love the chunky feel to the watch. It feels like I'm wearing something amazing. Not to mention the attention this watch gathers whenever I wear it. There is definitely no other watch like this. That being said, I'd rate the watch itself with a solid 5 stars.HOWEVER...Their customer service is horrendous. My watch recently stopped displaying the time and at first I thought it was the battery. I took it to a watch repair shop and they said the battery was fine, it was the movement that was the problem and they didn't have any parts for it. So I searched on the Phosphor website about warranty coverage and repair costs. There is next to NOTHING on their site that has information on how to have your watch fixed should it need repairs. All their website state is that the movement is the only thing covered under the warranty and to send it back to them to have it fixed.Well...Where do I send it?How long will it take to repair? Is there a form to fill out?How will I know I will get my watch back?Who do I contact for questions?Do I pay for the shipping back and forth for the repair?Really, Phosphor? You do not have ANY information on your site about this?So I emailed the general customer service box and the reply I received was I should send the watch back to them for repair and if a spring is lost, I will need to fork over $25 if I live within the US to replace it as it is not covered under the warranty.Again...Where do I send it?How long will it take to repair? Is there a form to fill out?How will I know I will get my watch back?Who do I contact for questions?Do I pay for the shipping back and forth for the repair?Their customer service is completely unhelpful. Not to mention the email reply I received back was written so unprofessionally I began to question if I should even send my watch back. How do I know I'd even get it back? I still haven't gotten a response back from them with my second set of questions. The company sure doesn't give me the warm and fuzzy assurance that they will treat my watch with care and return it to me in tip-top shape. Actually, I'm sure they'll be able to fix it. I just don't know if the watch will come back to ME. Which would be pointless to send it back.My confidence in this company is quickly deteriorating. I love the watch designs they have and I love the watch I purchased. I just didn't expect it to fail after 1 year of use for the price the watch is selling and get no assistance or confidence from their customer service line. I'm not sending my watch anywhere until I'm assured it will be returned to me. I've already read some reviews from other customers who have not received their watch back when they sent it in for repair.Phosphor, you need a serious executive board meeting to go over new plans for customer service. Skimping on this key business point will seriously damage your rep as a company. Which would be a shame since the products you sell are really unique and great.

My wife saw one fo these in the store and loved it. Said she would like one someday (like maybe her birthday?). Found it here and she was over the moon when she got it.

Love this watch!
Easy to change time, great conversation piece, and easy to read the time! Comfy enough to wear all day long.
