Have been hunting for a suitable journal and whilst there are many to choose from I often found that sometimes the ones on offer just didn't quite match my needs or have what would appear to be a premium quality about them. What I like about this journal is not only the nice antique leather covering but also the method of closing with it being a simple strap that feeds into the holder on the front cover, perfect for quick and easy access whenever I need to make my entries and move on to the next task in hand.The sheets of paper are fixed into place well with 20 or so pages to each section, another handy method of sectioning my entries based on subjects or topics. The paper thickness and quality is great with what I have written so far keeping to one side with no of the ink bleeding through to the other side of the paper which would only ruin the appearance of my notes etc.Although not advertised as being included there is also a quality pen included, the only downside to this is that a suitably sized ink insert needs to be purchased as it didn't come with one but as an extra, it certainly makes a nice addition to the journal itself.As a gift it would be a brilliant item to give someone especially the way it is neatly presented arriving in sealed in a cardboard envelope type of sleeve.Would I buy it again? Yes

I'm impressed with this journal..I've started using it.. I thought my paints would bleed through the pages but I'm pleasantly surprised..the paint crinkles the pages but that just adds to it..I love it..now I've got to fill it.. 😃

Nicely made, doesn't smell or stain, durable but not hardback, good quality pages for writing or painting. As it's leather you gotta be careful around anything sharp because it can scratch.

We used as a notebook in which everyone wrote wishes on the occasion of the jubilee.

I am so chuffed with this product!I have been looking for another journal for a long time and I am so ecstatic. I wanted something that I could use to write and put photos in and this is exactly what I was looking for. It has that old world feeling to it which is what I love about it the most.The journal includes blank quality pages. The pen does not bleed through. Pencil also works well.It is a pricey item but you get what you pay for at the end of the day. Thank you Amazon for a really speedy delivery. Over the moon.

Love the quality of the paper

I loved the genuine leather flowered cover and the papers inside look old and makes the whole book look authentic. I bought this for a gift and my friend loved it. It said it didn't come with a pen but there was one with it when it came but needs a refill and the pen itself is real good quality too wrapped in its own leather case. Overall I was very pleased with my purchase. I would definitely recommend it and would by it again.

Das Notizbuch sieht in echt exakt so wie auf den Bildern aus. Es fühlt sich unglaublich hochwertig an. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit!Was allerdings einige stören könnte ist, dass wenn man es knickt das Leder an den Knickstellen deutlich verblasst - was natürlich einfach so ist bei diesem Material. Ich persönlich finde es nicht schlimm, weil es damit den Charme von einem alten Lederbuch gut zur Geltung bringt und man daran erkennt, wenn es viel und gerne benutzt wird.

So at first the delivery was set for 1 month as it was shipped from China. Arrived within 14 days. Packaged just like other versions with accessories inside. Good quality paper of dark yellow renaissance tinge. Genuine leather, well processed. Exactly what one needs if one likes leather binds. So delivery dates can be misleading as it arrived three weeks earlier. Don't be discouraged. Hope this helps.

Sehr schönes Buch. Wir nehmen es als Chronik für unsere Pfadfinderabenteuer. Das heißt es muss auch mal was aushalten im Gepäck oder am Abend am Feuer Stand halten. Es sieht sehr robust aus und ich denke, dass es ein zuverlässiger Begleiter wird. Ich finde toll, dass man die einzelnen Seiten komplett aufklappen kann, ohne ständig die Seite aufzudrücken- bleibt nämlich dadurch wie es gebunden ist, offen liegen. Das ist besonders gut, wenn man unterwegs ist und keinen Schreibtisch hat und Notizen machen möchte. Außerdem ist das Papier schön dick und robust. Die Art und Weise wie es aussieht, macht schon neugierig hinein zu schauen was da steht.Wenn man was mit Bleistift vorschreibt, kann man es ohne Rückstände und ohne Flecken oder kaputten Papier radieren. Man kann mit Tinte reinmalen, ohne dass es durch die Seite durch geht.Fotos kann man gut aufkleben, da die Seiten robust sind.Ich freue mich sehr über das Buch, das uns noch viel Zeit zum Schreiben und später Lesen bescheren wird.Die Größe finde ich ideal.Man kann einiges rein schreiben, da es nicht zu klein ist. Allerdings auch nicht zu groß. Passt in die Handtasche rein!Absolte Kaufempfehlung.Wir haben es in dunkelrot bestellt. Schöne Farben, schöne Prägung.
