Simple, fairly discreet & convenient
Powerful magnets despite their small size. Gone are the days of damaging my cycling jersey's with safety pins - easy to reposition to get bib number exactly where you want it and far less kerfuffle than safety pins. Only time will tell how durable they are, but so far, so good.Given that the magnets are so strong, when not in use, you may want to be careful where you store them so that they don't damage or interfere with magnetically sensitive objects - could be all too easy to put them in your pocket alongside your wallet (with credit cards - I know in the UK we have embraced contactless payments & chip + PIN but there are still quite a few countries which continue to use the magstripe on the rear of your cards), an mp3 player or mobile phone.

Better than safety pins
If you have the time to put your race number on your jersey before a race then safety pins work fine but its often a bit of a faff if you have to do it on the day especially if you're pushed for time. These help a lot with that meaning you can attach your race number in literally seconds. You can't feel them through your jersey either as they have smooth sides. They are a little heaver than safety pins but I couldn't tell. About the only issue is that if you leave them on your jersey without a race number, they tend to magnetically attract to each other with only a thin jersey to keep them apart :) But otherwise they work well. Useful bit of kit to leave in your race bag.

Useful
Strong. Nb you can't use on bibs that have a tracking chip in.

Really Good
Used these a couple of times for 10k races and big improvement over safety pins IMO, particularly for the very flimsy numbers that some races give out. No more damage to t-shirts or numbers shifting in the weather (a useful feature in Scotland!) Lay your top out on a flat surface, position your number and slide the bottom part of the magnets in to place then clamp with the top part.No issues either with timing chips that I have experienced, I track my runs using a TomTom watch and my watch time is within a few seconds of the chip time.

Very strong magnets
Very strong magnets (in fact perhaps a bit to strong at times, your shirt might be drawn to metalic objects if you stand too close). It's easy to lose them so I would recommend a bright colour, like red to make it easy to look for them.

Great
Loved them they were easy to use and stayed in place the timing chip for the half marathon I done on Sunday was a one that went on shoe so there was no problem with that but iv got another 1 in 4 weeks which is in the bib so will see and update if there are problems

Just the job
Just the job, they do what they are meant to do. Need to be a little careful not to catch them or they will pop off. But i think that was due to me being a bit careless.

Practical way to attach bib
Magnets secure bib. Magnets, are pretty strong sticking to glasses cases, keys etc, have a slight concern they might interfere with chip on a chip timer event...
