Worked great for my newly built workbench!
I put these on the legs of a new workbench I built. It's wood, but it's big, and heavy. I didn't really need the advertised load capacity, but I bought them because they were the perfect size to go on the bottom of the 4x4 legs of this bench. Once built, I had to roll it about 50 yards across my concrete driveway, and it rolled very smoothly. The mechanism to raise and lower the wheels works very smoothly as well, and once it was in its new home, with the wheels lifted, it's rock-solid. I'd buy them again. The only thing I would change is to make them available in packages of two as well as four, because my bench had 6 legs and I had to buy two sets of four. But that's the problem with all of them, as far as I know.

The best caster out there
By far my favorite casters. The ability the level workbench’s so they are solid and stable, while still being mobile if needed is a game changer. The build quality and finish is exceptional, and they can handle a lot of weight and still be nimble. I also prefer this ratcheting leveler rather than the star shaped one on other similar casters. 3 pairs in and I’ll be getting more for sure.

Great product!
Love these. Converted a heavy coffee table into a workbench and needed something heavy duty, mobile and instead of brakes, a way of leveling it flat on an uneven floor. Great design and top drawer quality.

Most as advertised and one that's not...
Overall, these are acceptable casters at this price point for this application (24" x 24" x 60" tall cabinet @ 900 lbs). The floor is polished concrete.Initial opinion while unboxing after an misleading Prime day purchase (more under CONS).Pros:The MFG Pictures are accurate. The housing is cast metal painted whiteThe leveling foot is plastic, and substantial. The leveling foot has a single metal threaded insert centered and ~ 5/16". Each foot is stamped "80-500 kgs".The mounting plate swivel has two open ball bearings. The larger diameter bearing above the cast metal housing, a smaller below the housing and above the rachet handle. Both had visible grease applied.Tabletop testing determined the mounting plate and rachet while on the same single shaft can rotate independently. A threaded shaft extends below the ratchet handle and into the leveling foot 's metal insert (see photos). The ratchet handle rotates the shaft and threads in/out of the foot. The foot does not rotate in cast metal housing.CONS:- ball bearings are open and susceptible in shop environment. Can combat with periodic cleaning and needle style grease application- The caster wheel was NOT as expected. It is 100% molded plastic, no metal bushing, no metal bearing of any kind.- Be aware that unlike other listings This brand does NOT come with mount fasteners. The price point reflects that compared to competitors. We had fasteners and we're able to save money over the other Chinese competitors.- Had this item in the cart for more than a week waiting for prime day. The seller raised the price $21 just before prime day, and offered a coupon. This resulted in the same price as before prime day ($49). This is just pointing out the deceptive practice.Due to inevitable plastic deformation because there is no bearing or bushing on the caster wheel axle, we do not recommend UNLESS all load is removed after moving. This caster wheel is NOT designed to last under continuous heavy load or continuous movement applications.

Eloquent and efficient
There are many types of lift and shift casters out there, and some will trip you up if passing by too close, and others that remain on their wheels that simply friction lock in place can place tremendous loads on a single wheel to bear - especially if i.e. - pounding on the tabletop. THIS design allows for a tool-less (with built in lever) extension and retraction of the static load-bearing foot, allowing for the mobility provided by the sturdy wheel when needed, and sturdy weight tested foot to provide secure and stable platform for whatever your project demands. There are several classes of Load Rating, so choose and pay for what you need. I am using these on a very sturdy work bench that supports a radial arm drill press, lathe and scroll saw - ALL heavy tools that you do NOT want on a wobbly platform. Leveling and squeezing out any rocking is easy with these casters. some designs simply have a knurled disc to raise and lower foot, but is hard to get at and to exert any real tension with finger grip, requiring a wrench or plyers that destroy the wheel. This has a lever that provides leverage and a ratchet design up or down with a flip of a tab, and if further leverage is needed, the hold in the lever permits a philips head or rod to be inserted for more advantage and lifting power. Only con is that with the smaller wheels, it is not suitable for rougher surfaces or where greater clearance is required, (i.e. - threshold hopping, etc.)

Seller stands by their product
Really wanted to love these. I bought them to make a pool table mobile and to level it. Right out of the box they felt nice and solid. I liked the ratchet action. Their range is quite limited, but that's understandable as most people wouldn't need anymore. Unfortunately the table is on a sloped patio, so it's just my particular use issue. The real problem was one stopped ratcheting first use after I installed them (if you've ever moved a pool table, you know it's no easy task). I figured out a way to still make it work by holding the lever a certain way and jamming a screw driver in, but don't feel like I should have to do that, especially on first use. Not going to try and return because I don't move the table enough. Just a bummer to have one janky wheel.Update: Seller offered a full refund after reading my review. I'm very impressed and will give this product another try.
