About : OILESEN Vitamin D3 1000 with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Soft Capsules, this product is intended to provide supplementary vitamin D3 (cholecalcipherol) for children above 5 years, adolescents and adults, including 60 years of age and older, as well as individuals who may be house-bound or who may avoid sun exposure. Vitamin D3 contributes to the contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, normal muscle function and the normal function of immune system, normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D3 is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. Vitamin D3 helps to reduce the risk of falling associated with postural instability and muscle weakness. Falling is a risk factor for the bone fractures among men and women 60 years of age and older. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20ug of vitamin D from all sources. Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil, capsule shell (gelatin, humectant – glycerol), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3). 1 capsule contains 25 μg (1000 IU*) of vitamin D3 (500% NRV**). Recommended Intake: Children over 5 years and adults, including 60 years of age and older, take 1 capsule per day during a meal. If there are issues with swallowing, the capsule can be chewed or the contents squeezed into a meal, a drink or directly into the mouth. *1 μg of vitamin D equals 40 International Units (IU) of vitamin D. **NRV - nutrient reference values Do not exceed the stated recommended dose.
