Does not keep hair dry
I have very long hair and swim frequently so I needed a cap to keep my hair covered and protected from the harsh chemicals in the pool. I ordered this, based on the description. It does cover my hair, but does not remotely keep it dry. I've used it several times, trying different strategies to pull it down farther, pull my hair up differently, etc., but each time I remove it to anything from saturated to damp hair. What's the point?

First Swim Cap That Actually Fits!
I have one of those heads that don't work well with hats, headbands and swim caps historically just slid off...So the only time I could use my pool was if I had time to deal with my medium/long hair afterward, which was nearly never. I have four swim caps I've bought within the past year as I've tried to resolve this 1st World Problem, but none worked...Until now!As recommended by other reviewers, I stuck my hair up into a low bun, held the cap open as indicated in the accompanying picture and slipped it on. I was pleasantly surprised when it didn't pinch and pull my skin or my hair and it actually held it all in! In less than a minute, I was ready to go and the grips around the fact kept it in place even after I made it to the pool, which was another first.Yes, similar to others, my hair got a little wet around the edges, but I can handle a two-minute blow dry, followed by a quick brush to style and then I'm ready to roll to my next adventure, which usually involves some level of camera work, so I have to look at least presentable.I also commend the follow-up from the owner that I received. I rarely post reviews, but I got from his request that his values mirror many of mine and I believe strongly in family businesses, which apparently this one is, according to the follow-up note.So if you are looking for a good, reliable cap that evens works for heads that normally can't wear caps and also can manage long hair, I suggest you give this one a try. Plus, you'll be helping out a family business in the process!

Great non-slip/extra big swim cap!!!
I finally found a swim cap that stays on my head!!! It is large enough to fit all of my past shoulder length hair (that I wrap in a bun underneath it) and I love the textured bumps on the inside border. They seem to add the additional "traction" to keep this cap from slipping while doing my laps. I've only used it a dozens time or so, but it's keeping up quite well.It work great protecting my hair from the chlorine too. I saturate my dry hair with conditioner, wrap it in a bun, put the swim cap on and it keeps the conditioner from rinsing out. This prevents the chlorine from absorbing into my hair. As soon as I'm finished swimming, I hop in the shower and rinse out the conditioner. The keep my hair from getting dry and brittle and also from smelling like bleach. As for the disclaimer that it keep your hair dry... Maybe if you are using it as a shower cap. There aren't any swim caps out there (including scuba hoods) that keep the water completely out. The main purpose of a swim cap is to keep your hair out of your face and provide less drag.

Nice quality, however...
I got this swim cap in hopes to spend more time in the pool without getting my hair wet. The material is nice and it feels like a good quality with bumpy ridges to help secure around your head. I do wish It was slightly larger as with my hair being thick and long the fit is not the best at keeping water out. I still give four stars because it does look nice and the material is nice however if you wish to keep long thick hair completely dry, a larger cap would be needed.

but it fit like a dream
I've only used it once, but it fit like a dream. At one point during my swim, I had to put my hand to my head to make sure it was still there. It went on smoothly and totally covers my all of my fairly long and thick hair. Finally a cap I can just put on and forget about and not 'futz' with during my swim!

Awful.
Pretty color, but it's the only thing good about it. I have hair to my waist. Not once has it kept my hair dry. There's plenty of room, but it doesn't seal at all. I have galaxy-gives- colored hair (pinks, blues, purples) so keeping my hair dry in a clorinated pool is necessary! I was so disappointed that it didn't work because it is a GREAT color. It wasn't worth the time and effort to send back...miso I wear it in the tanning bed once a week to protect my hair.

This sucks
I bought this cap because I don't like for my hair to be wet while in the pool, well I was better off wearing a grocery bag over my head. This cap does nothing, I put it on before I get in the water & when I take it off my head is soaked from root to the end. This was a waste of my money.

Comfortable "ouch-free" swim cap
This is the most comfortable swim cap I've ever worn,Did I get a little water in there- yes, but I suspect it was user error on my part. I did not fully extend it over the ears as pictured since I prefer not to have my ears covered when I swim. If you are concerned about keeping hair dry, follow the instructions. For me, I just wanted a swim cap that did not give me a headache and this was perfect- soft, easy to slide on and off, and did not snag my hair.I wouldn't hesitate to re-purchase.
